Report: Kofi Kingston Out 4-8 Weeks
By Ryan Clark on Wednesday, May 29th, 2013 at 1:16 PM EST

WWE.com has an article up, explaining that Ryback beat down Kofi Kingston after their match at last night’s SmackDown tapings.

WWE medical physician Doctor Michael Sampson stated that the attack caused more damage to Kingston’s already-existing elbow injury.

Kingston will undergo surgery tomorrow (Thursday) and is expected to be out of action for 4 to 8 weeks.
Who is going to job to Dean Ambrose on a weekly basis now?

Big Vic 05-29-2013 01:20 PM

Sin Cara? or they could turn Cesaro face.

Leave The Memories Alone.

As bad as it is to be injured, could end up being a "blessing in disguise" for him considering his character has lacked a lot of direction ever since Air Boom fizzled out.

Gives the writers at least a month or two to refresh his character.

Don't care about the chocolate midget. He's the 2013 version of Koko B. Ware and that's the cold hard truth.

mike adamle 05-29-2013 02:14 PM

He's probably going to come back as a member of the shield, possibly a gay one.

This. Might be the best thing that ever happened to him. I'm a big Kofi mark.

Definitely. This isn't an opinion at all.

Creative might finally have something for Christian.

Rammsteinmad 05-29-2013 03:25 PM

Oh is it legit? I actually thought it was just a way to get him off TV for a while so they can try something new with him, similar to Jack Swagger.

What Would Kevin Do? 05-29-2013 07:49 PM

Have him out for a bit and have him return with Evan Bourne if/when he returns.

Then have Kofi turn on Evan immediately. Boom, instant feud, gives both guys something to do, and it gives Kofi a sympathetic baby face to start his heel run against.

The Miz.

Droford 05-29-2013 08:27 PM

Kofi comes back and wins mitb

Skippord 05-29-2013 09:07 PM

Kofi's the best, but it's probably a good thing since he has a new kid that he can hang out with for awhile now.

Theo Dious 05-29-2013 11:31 PM

Have him come back dressed as the Crow and zero in on the shield.

You're welcome.

With the added bonus of not having to change diapers, being temporarily one armed and all.

"Sorry, babe. I'd handle that but, yeeeaaahh... just had elbow surgery. Man, this one smells baaaad too! Welp, have fun with that!"

Bad News Gertner 05-30-2013 09:27 AM

Won't even notice that he's gone. Does zero for me.

Shisen Kopf 05-30-2013 09:31 AM

He's good in the royal rumble, that's about it.

Zack Ryder of course he still does all the jobs.

If Zack Ryder is jobbing to Ambrose, who is going to job to THE RYBACK?

Tommy Gunn 05-30-2013 07:31 PM

WWE's number one jobber to the stars is out! Better bring in Christian / give more jobs to Jericho.

Kane Knight 05-31-2013 08:45 AM

Bring Back Al Snow!

Mr. Nerfect 06-02-2013 08:05 PM

Kofi Kingston could use the time away. After seeing the attack, I kind of thought that Kofi Kingston could blame Cena for not having his back. A Cena vs. Kofi feud would be...interesting. Kofi could also return and take issue with Ryback, or even The Shield for forcing Ryback to "snap."
