anybody else watching this? it kind of sprung up without warning on tumblr and suddenly my dash was full of hannibal-related stuff so i let my curiosity get the better of me. i'm actually quite enjoying it, which is kind of a surprise to me since i haven't really liked much of anything to do with hannibal lecter since silence of the lambs.
whatever though, the two leads are pretty great at what they do and morpheus is in it so automatic points there. anyway. yes. rather good. |
Must-watch for me, absolutely incredible casting and storyline.

I've seen the first four or five episodes of it and really enjoyed them.

I enjoyed the first couple of episodes but lost interest, which really surprised me. I think I'll sit down and watch all the eps back to back one day though and give it another crack.

I'm about 4 episodes in and I'm liking it. Love the cast, especially how Mads Mikkelsen is doing his own thing with Lector.
Just been renewed for a second season too. |
Enjoying it...I think. Mikkelsen is a good Lector. That CIA shrink fucking annoys me though.
How many episodes in the season total? I hope its not one of these 24 episode jobs tbh. |

after that it becomes a case of the week where so little attention is paid to the case it is surprising |

It ended better than I expected for him. I was fairly certain Jack was going to fatally shoot him the same way Garrett Jacob Hobbs died. Also, for some reason, I still think Abigail is alive even though Skully probably ate her up.

I enjoy Hannibal possibly more than any drama on television with the exception of Justified right now

I've been finding Season 4 of Justified a bit slow going so far and I'm about 5 episodes in. Mind you I really enjoyed season 3, so it has a lot to live up to.

I didn't like season 4 as much as season 3, but I thought it really picked up towards the end. There's a scene in the finale that's one of my favorites in the series.
They changed up the format so much in season 4 it's kind of jarring. |

Thoughts on season 2? Personally thought it was incredible, with the finale being just perfect. Completely delivered, and then much more.
I understand the style/tone of the show isn't for everyone, but this show is so underrated it's crazy |
Batshit insane and in the good way too. Loved the teaser in the end! I also realized I was right about Abigail after all :D

I started watching this on Amazon Prime, never loved "Silence of the Lambs" as most, good movie but not something I was "into"- never saw the other movies but enjoying the show.
