I wish the Barao injury had happened sooner so the main event will be a 5 rounder but its still an alright card..

5 round Rashad fights suck though

His best two fights were against Davis and Griffin and both of those were 5 rounders..

He didn't last more than 3 with griffin and I disagree with you on Davis

He showed improved footwork and boxing in the Davis fight.. I could tell the difference Henry Hooft made..

You are pretty much saying he sucked against Jon Jones, which isn't saying much..

I thought Woodley vs. Shields was on the main card

Think it got bumped for the barry/jordan but its the main prelim fight so its all good imo..

Im nervous as FUCK for this fight. Suga could line himself up for a title shot, Or be knocked into retirement

Nah, I think if Shad loses he'll drop down to 185..

If Hendo loses, he might retire..

I kind of see Shad/Hendo going the way of Machida/Hendo. I don't see Rashad getting within striking distance of the H bomb or even engaging with Henderson. Think it will be a bit of a snoozer actually.

The rest of the card should have some fireworks though. It may be low on name recognition, but it should have some great finishes.

I feel like Henderson/Evans will be very similar to Henderson/Shields (Hendo hurts Evans/Shields in the first, gets dry humped for the remaining 4 rounds)

No way Evans hold Hendo down for 4 rounds

Speaking of Jake Shields, I'm really excited for him versus Woodley. Can't stand Woodley, but love me some Jake Shields. Hopefully he subs Woodley.

would rather see Shields/Woodley on the main card instead of the bird's fight but whatevs. Feel like Sam Stout fights like every 2 months

Rashad is a better MMA wrestler than Hendo, and Hendo is pretty average off his back.

Though Shields chin is probably better than 'shads

Sexton is a heavy underdog for some reason, but I feel like she could definitely give Alexis some trouble.

Just saw the interview Ariel did with Sexton. Apparently she is very very smart. Womens division > Men's heavyweight

I like when the UFC signs smart well spoken fighters, its def good for the sport..

The "my black friends said it" excuse should not fly in this case. Uncle Tom is a vile, racist term. There's no room for other interpretations of what it means.

For those unfamiliar with the term, an oversimplified explanation would be refering to a black man who sides with "the white man" to gain favor. It's a term with a long and very ugly history.

Nelson's manager, Mike Kogan, may have stepped in it a bit himself earlier today when he tweeted out "Fag shoe contest Jordan vs Ariel who wins ? I say Jordan outpinks Ariel Helwani."

Kogan recently defended client Nate Diaz's use of "fag" by clumsily stating that it isn't a term for a gay man where Diaz comes from.

Kogan and Nelson's comments come on the heels of Josh Thomson's bizarre anti-gay marriage ramblings on social media in the past few days, making this a less than positive week for the promotion in terms of PR.

Bloody Elbow has reached out to the UFC for comment and will provide an update once one is given.

Didn't even know this occurred..Don't think Big Country is a racist. Just lacking a bit of perspective maybe. Sets up an interesting potential grudge match though. Apparently, this is the last fight of Nelson's deal. A big KO might make him the hottest free agent in a long time.

I don't think theyll cut him if he wins.. Id say feed him to DC..

NBT im watching the weighins right now and I know you're a britany guy, but Arriany still is the goat..

Hope to God they don't cut him win or lose. The HW division and the UFC as a whole needs a fighter with his personality and skill set. Wanted to see DC/Big Country before and think this adds more fuel and interest to the story even if it is negative publicity.
