boner alert!
Wonder if there will still be an animated billboard in the background for the "Ultra 64":shifty:
Seriously though, all I remember vividly are the unbeatable combos and Orchid making everyone pass out from flashing her boobs. Even her own palate swap. "My tits are so perfect even *I* can't lay my eyes on them without going into a coma!" |
And T.J. Combo- back when black guys could only be boxers in fighting games.
Please don't fuck this up Microsoft
Double Helix Games, developer of Silent Hill Homecoing, are the ones working on this game.
lol
I still have my killer kuts bonus CD with all themes, nice touch on the remix in the 2nd video of the Instinct theme
Homecoming wasn't that bad, but obviously this isn't remotely the same type of game.
I wonder if they'll keep Orchid's flash and Maya's elephant drop. I wonder if Maya will even be in it.
Never pegged you a KI fan, Dro.
Is it Bone only, or is it getting a 360 version?
Exclusive to Xbox One.
I'm sure it's only on Xbox One.
No 360 version, sadly. |
Meh. Not sure I'd buy it anyway. I have this certain nostalgia for the first title, but it did come out back when I routinely played fighting games.
Still, would have been more interested if it was for the 360 as well. (No, I didn't expect it to come out for the Playstations or anything) |

It's funny you say that. I have a blog idea on why this, well... ugly game, may be a very good move for Xbox One during launch period.
Looks legit.
Highly suprised that I am not the only KI fan on TPWW

Microsoft playing an Xbone exclusive game of corrupt a wish here.
Isn't the Xbone a corrupt a wish to begin with?
Xbone is the monkey paw in mechanical form.
As much as I want this I am so sick of Microsoft finding new ways to fuck us that I am simply sticking to Nintendo and Sony

The game will have both a normal retail release and a free-to-play version which is the demo that can be upgraded. Quote:

Alright, cool.
Based on early impressions and the move guide shown for the demo, Killer Instinct is getting the "Mortal Kombat" treatment for rebooting the controls.
Less focus on the traditional dial-a-combo string system and more towards a simpler button-based system. |
That actually wouldn't be simpler.
How is that not free to play? Download part for free, then buy little packs in game for more content.

Well the six button layout is back, three punches and three kicks. Their dash mechanic emulates SF 3rd Strike as they proudly admitted. I don't know if they're looking toward SF4 for anything other than a 2.5D presentation.

Apparantly, Madcatz were showing off a fightstick for the game or something, at EVO. They mentioned the Xbox One and got boo'd.
Yeah. Silly crowd.

Seems like a good deal. It's a next gen fighter coming out cheaper than many current gen ones.
