R.I.P. Jackie Fargo

Didn't see a thread on it, but Jackie Fargo of the Fabulous Fargoes died the other day.

Guy was one of the greats, especially in Memphis.

Memphis Heat isn't that good

RIP Jackie Fargo

There would be no Memphis Wrestling without Fargo.

He was the king of Memphis who was the innovator of the Fargo strut that many have imitated but never duplicated.

He was super over for years in Memphis and will be missed.

He didn't wrestle in the WWE, therefore he's a nobody.

actually he and Don Fargo wrestled for the WWE off and on in the late 50s.

Their match against Argentina Rocca and Miguel Perez was witnessed by a record breaking 20,125 people at Madison Square Garden on March 30, 1957.

There are those folks who I feel paved the way for sports entertainment as we know it today.

Jackie really was one of those guys.

RIP Jackie Fargo ... I heard he was a nice place to live, if a tad remote.

"I still remember" the vignettes of Jackie passing the strut on to Jeff Jarrett.
