Idea for Damian Sandow going forward.
Sandow looks like they are going to job him a bit, but I have a cool idea how to go forward. After losing again, Sandow should come out and tell the crowd that he has taken upon himself to hire an advisor. Someone who is as intelligent and well spoken as he: out comes William Regal dressed in a suit. That pairing would be incredible. Looks like NXT will be using A-Ry and Tony Dawson as their announce team, so it'd give Regal something to do, and their mic skills would mesh together nicely. Thoughts?

Noid will be all over this like ABT over a watermelon
|
Noid probably dry-heaving right now
|
Noid probably breaking out his asthma inhaler at the thought of this
|
Or Luke Gallows could return and feud with Sandow, Sandow proceeds to elbow drop his ass from the top rope, the elbow drop of intellect drains Gallows of all his brain power and he relapses into Festus.

Love the idea of using Regal on TV for anything other than sparse two minutes squashes. Ideally, he'd take over for King on commentary, but managing Sandow would be tremendous.

anything that puts regal on my tv weekly is good in my book.

monday night regal!

I agree with that, and thus, also with Gertner. Anything to get Regal to talk on TV. Everything he says automatically sounds important. Just let him read the script of Raw on the air without any match actually going on, and I would watch. |
I'd like to see Cody thwart any opportunity Sandow has to cash in his briefcase in the immediate future, to the point where Sandow brings somebody in stop Cody interfering. Imagine if that man was Regal, who had been installed at the commentary booth some weeks prior. The WHC is down and out, Sandow comes out, Rhodes follows him to the ring in an attempt to stop him cashing in, only to be taken out by Regal.
World Champion Damien Sandow with William Regal at his side in a continuing feud with Rhodes would have me interested. With the potential of Regal becoming disgruntled at helping a guy keep the very title that has eluded him his entire career playing out somewhere down the line. |
Like the idea of Regal becoming a manager once his NXT stuff ends.
Ideally the best option for Sandow is to stretch out the Cody vs Sandow feud for a few months so Sandow isn't just doing the typical post-MitB random jobbing and Cody gets a good feud to develop his face status. |
Before they went and gave him Money in the Bank, I had a dream about Sandow joining the Wyatt Family.
Sandow has always been about "saving the unwashed masses", and Wyatt is all about "opening the sheep's eyes" and whatnot. If Wyatt could "brainwash" an "intellectual" like Damien Sandow over to his side of "helping the masses", it could have been huge. Also still could have led to a Cody Rhodes face turn. |
Almost like a new take on the Blue Bloods.
|
For some reason I really like Regal. Good idea mate!
|
As long as Regal could say that Cody's mustache besmirches the good name of facial hair everywhere.
|
Anything that gets William Regal involved in a major way is good for business, sunshine.

As many have said, William Regal being on television is a very good thing. Sandow doesn't really need Regal, though, since Sandow is already such an amazingly charismatic presence. I'd much rather see Regal actually feud with Sandow, with Sandow mocking Regal's humble beginnings, or maybe even assuming that Regal was a fellow man of class, not realizing that Regal had to scrap for everything he ever had.
Watching SmackDown this week, I thought it would be great if Regal approached Vickie Guerrero all nice and shit backstage and offered his advice out of kindness. You never really know if Regal is on the level or not, but you have him become the Assistant GM of SmackDown and maybe even show up on RAW sometimes to interact with Brad Maddox representing Vickie. Maddox could punish Regal on RAW and Vickie could reward (or accidentally punish) Regal on SmackDown. Maybe Regal could use the position to boost himself to a television title opportunity at some point? |

The only reason to have this happen is if you're going to take away Sandow's current gimmick. |
Put Regal with Adrian Neville in a take on Educating Rita. There's a guy that needs help with promo.

The more I think about it, the more I want William Regal to put an elite group of wrestlers together, like the Ruthless Roundtable. Damien Sandow with his brilliance, Ezekiel Jackson with his strength, Christian with his experience and Aiden English -- the understudy of the group who gets beaten up a lot. Have Regal negotiate exclusive contracts with Vickie Guerrero on SmackDown for these guys, get them paid a lot of money and work reduced schedules and only show up wearing suits and such. |
