A lot of excitement comes from believing a fight could end any second, to get you on the edge of your seat. This is why I love watching Machida fights, even if there isn't much action, because you know something huge could happen at any moment, ala his fights with Thiago Silva/Rashad/Couture/Bader.
Demetrious never usually gives me that impression when watching his fights. However, seeing him take a risk and get the finish in the 5th round, while clearly winning, has got me a lot more interested in him. |
