Sheamus injured -- out until WM XXX

Sheamus has injured his shoulder and will require surgery. Likely out until WMXXX.

Skippord 08-07-2013 12:43 PM

I don't see why they needed to text me about this at 7 in the morning

Lock Jaw 08-07-2013 12:44 PM

Could be the shot in the arm, pun intended, that Sheamus needs to respark interest when he comes back.

slik 08-07-2013 12:45 PM

Hopefully his character will return as less of a Bully.

MORNIN' FELLA

ron the dial 08-07-2013 12:46 PM

hate to say it, but i'm not going to miss him. hopefully they take this opportunity to try and breathe some new life into his character upon his return.

screech 08-07-2013 12:50 PM

Sucks, but it could be good to refresh his character. Felt the same way with Kofi. Both kinda got "stuck."

screech 08-07-2013 12:50 PM

Note to self: read threads before posting "original" thoughts.

DrCrawford 08-07-2013 12:55 PM

Why couldn't this happen to Orton.

Wake Up Call 08-07-2013 01:04 PM

This is terrible news, I enjoyed his work in the ring. Hopefully he has a great recovery and comes back ready to go

MoFo 08-07-2013 01:20 PM

Royal Rumble comebak

whiteyford 08-07-2013 01:24 PM

You don't want him injured but like a few others have said it should allow him to come back fresh.

Corporate CockSnogger 08-07-2013 01:26 PM

Damn Sheamus is great. Hope they give him a huge return after it and not something a bit lacklustre. Could be the difference between him being a huge deal or just end up floating around the main event but not really making too much noise again.

Innovator 08-07-2013 01:26 PM

While his character turned into shit, I loved his in ring stuff. Hopefully he recovers quickly.

SlickyTrickyDamon 08-07-2013 01:28 PM

Y is it never Cena?

What kind of dickheads hope people get injured?

Anybody Thrilla 08-07-2013 01:52 PM

Pretty much what everyone else thinks for me. Love his in-ring. Character-wise, couldn't give less of a fuck. Sucks that he's hurt, though.

I still think that his match with Daniel Bryan at Extreme Rules is one of the best matches of all time.

legendkillerRKO 08-07-2013 01:54 PM

Aaaaand we have this years amazing, inspirational Royal Rumble surprise entrant, comeback winner who comes back before he should to earn his spot at Mania. Bleh. Spare me. Guess its more time for Sheamus to stroke HHH...literally

People sick of seeing these assholes ruining the sport we love.

Ultra Mantis 08-07-2013 02:11 PM

They should carry on doing the Dial-A-Fella gimmick while he's injured, but have him move away from the bullying dick to being a man desperate to pay his increasing medical bills. Give his character some humanity.

Emperor Smeat 08-07-2013 02:12 PM

Was wondering what happened to him recently since he stopped showing up on tv the past few weeks and had nothing going on for Summerslam.

Agree with everyone else about Sheamus being great with matches but his character was getting really stale. Even the 1-800-Fella was just the same stuff of him acting like a dickhead to everyone.

Might be your funniest/most ridiculous post.

Anybody Thrilla 08-07-2013 02:32 PM

STD, are you even serious right now?

Savio 08-07-2013 02:32 PM

He was starting to get lost in the shuffle, hopefully he comes back as a bad ass submission machine.

DrCrawford 08-07-2013 02:52 PM

This kind of dickhead. Orton sucks.

Never said he needs to have his arm cut off or anything like that. he should go punch the mat again and mess up his elbow. I don't like seeing him on my TV.

you can always change the channel.

DaveBrawl 08-07-2013 03:00 PM

You know who won't be able too? Orton after punching the mat and messing up his elbow...

That was funnier in my head...

Cena and Orton are so much better than the workrate kickpad fannies.

He is always serious

Tazz Dan 08-07-2013 04:17 PM

Maybe he should remember that the time it was Cena, he came back at number 30 in the rumble, and won. Going by his logic, nothing would effectively change anyway.

Cool King 08-07-2013 04:32 PM

Just like other people have said, I too can see him returning during the Royal Rumble match, just like Cena did in 2008.

Also, I too like his ring stuff, but his character was pretty "hmm". Hopefully he has a quick recovery and returns with a new fresh character.

So why does he need to get hurt? He could get suspended or film a movie.

Or you could just not watch when he's on TV.

Corndad 08-07-2013 08:04 PM

It's unfortunate for him but honestly couldn't come at a better time. He was stale and needed time away to either reboot his Face Character or go back to the Heel that got him to Main Event/Upper Midcard in the first place.
