IF we get a new Corporation of sorts, who else joins?
In the bold prediction thread, people threw out the idea of a new Corporation of Orton, Vince, and HHH.
Who else would be good for this stable? I think the Prime Time Players would make a good fit. Down the line. Titus, anyway. |
In all fairness, I think just John Cena and Randy Orton should do just fine. They've both there the same amount of time, and are both WWE-bred superstars. They both (especially Cena) do all the hard work and bust their asses for the company... the "ideal" blueprint for what any corporate stable would want for their WWE Champions. Can't see both of them turning heel at the same time though. But def Randy Orton anyway...
|
I would just prefer it be Cena, Wade Barrett, Del Rio, Nikki Bella, with HHH and Stephanie backing them, and maybe the pay off The Shield for protection.
Which, given that they want to take down the machine, it leads into The Shield feuding with the Wyatt Family, and Cena ultimately feuding with Bray... |
I'd go with John Cena as the centerpiece. He's the golden boy of the company, and while they can try and have Vince talk about how he doesn't like Cena all they want, it's not going to really convince people.
The Shield being paid off and aligning with Vince and Triple H seems like a pretty good career decision for them. Wade Barrett also seems smart enough to align with them. Perhaps he gets another IC Title run as part of the group? Never thought about Nikki Bella joining, but that makes total sense. She and Brie can have a feud against each other. WWKD suggested that Alberto Del Rio join. I can get behind that, since he's got those movie star good looks and his character is meant to be rich. I can see Vince and Triple H definitely preferring Del Rio to Christian. Dolph Ziggler would then step up to Del Rio and win back the World Heavyweight Title, only for Damien Sandow to cash in and reveal his allegiance to the new Corporation. |
Sandow would be a great fit.
I just don't see Cena joining. He could... |
Cena joining would be like Hogan joining the nWo. It'd change the entire landscape of WWE overnight. If they want to move into a new era and really create a buzz about their product, it would certainly be more effective to turn Cena than to turn, say, Orton or Bryan.

Its really the only thing they can do right now to shock the audience. |
It's just a question of whether or not shocking them should be the point. If the current model is not broken and making Vince plenty of money, why would he want to shake the boat too much? Creatively, it would be a brilliant move. It might even see a spike in ratings and open up new avenues to push fresh babyfaces to the top. But if you're going to lose too much from turning him heel, it may not be worth it.
It just depends on how "exciting" the WWE want their product to be over the next few months. Orton seems like the obvious choice for the heel turn, because he might shock some kids by selling out, but it leaves the Cena cash cow intact. |
Corporation: HHH, Cena, Ziggler, Sheamus.

HHH - Boss
Vince - Boss Orton - Corporate Champ Brad Maddox - stooge Nikki Bella - valet and used to temp Cena to join Barrett - mid card representative Either The Sheild or Real Americans to get the tag team representative. Maybe Ryback as the enforcer/muscle but it would require him being rebuilt as a "beast." JBL - unofficial pro-corporate announcer like King in the past |

I've just woke up so Noid or someone can flesh that out, but like Bret in 97 staying face everywhere but the US.
|
Cena, Vince, Wade Barret with The Shield.
|
Based on HHH's praise of Daniel Bryan, it is obvious he will turn against him while reffing the Cena match, so Corporation 2013 will be:
John Cena Triple H Big E. Langston Titus O'Neil (giving Darren Young a singles run) Justin Gabriel (the jobber spot, after Zack Ryder applies and is beaten down) Nikki Bella (who feuds with Brie because she remains loyal to DB) |
Union 2013 will be:
Daniel Bryan Dolph Ziggler Mark Henry Kofi Kingston MMA-style Santino Marella, if he's still employed Brie Bella Zack Ryder applies but is politely told he cannot afford membership dues. Ryder turns heel and joins the Wyatt Family ala jobbers joining Raven's Flock in WCW because he appears well adjusted but is really a misfit. Ryder then dresses like a misfit to wear his heart on his sleeve. Drew McIntyre also joins the Wyatts and adopts a Gothic appearance. Jinder and Heath form the tag team SlaterMahal, an ode to Slater-Kinney and Hall & Oates. SlaterMahal win the Tag Titles in a four-way scramble involving the Usos, the Shield, and Tons of Funk (as the PTP have already split by this hypothetical time). |

I like how everyone is so certain Cena is going to turn this time
|
The Shield, Barrett, and Ryback are the first names that come to mind for me.
|
They should stop recycling story lines and not have a corporation at all. Just do something different with it. Hate that they need to constantly do things they've already done before like there aren't any new fresh ideas.
|
What would you do Narc? I'm interested in your thoughts in fresh ideas :)
|
He'd have someone be the first person inducted into the VKMTMS Club.
