Is it time to put the 'Sin Cara' character out to pasture?
 

In the same episode of RAW John Cena revealed his fortitude to champion on despite his elbow injury Sin Cara declares "My finger hurts, STOP THE MATCH".

After this latest sign of disrespect to the WWE Universe is it time to call it a day and just release Sin Cara?

Should let Hunico play the character again. Where the fuck is Hunico anyway? Love that guy.

But yeah, Sin Cara sucks. In his almost three years in the company, he's not really had any memorable matches, other than the Sin Cara Negro encounters he's not had any rivalries worth mentioning, and when he isn't spending most of his time on the injured list, he's pointing his finger or doing hurricanranas.

i'm indifferent. it's almost like he doesn't work there most of the time anyway.

I would like to see you do anything with 2 dislocated and broken fingers.

Hate this "Oh Man Cena did this and Foley did that" but "Sin Cara quits cause his fingers hurt" mentality. That was a pretty gruesome injury and Im not sure what kind of match you would expect a one handed man to have.

How many matches did Sin Cara even have between his last injury and this one?

is that 4 injuries since his debut less than 3 years ago? plus the 1 wellness suspension? it's not that he's bad, but it's hard to care when he disappears every few months.

Hunico had his chance, let Camacho play the character.

After RVD disappears in a few months Ricardo teams up with the Matadors, Hunico, Camacho and Sin Cara to take on the Real Americans and a few others in a race war that culminates at Survivor Series.

They should have Alberto go back to driving in the cars, and get Hunico, Camacho Samuray Del sol and some Mexican Female Tart to join his stable as the Mexican Cabinet.

I voted yes, but really if they just replaced the guy under the mask I think the Sin Cara character could make a comeback. I agree with whoever said to let Hunico play it again.

Still some good potential left in the Sin Cara character itself but if the wrestler keeps on getting injured, the best option would be to just pull a "Doink" and have someone else take over the character.

Could always bin the character and give the guy playing him a chance with no mask.

I don't see why the character needs to be binned. The dude is adjusting to the WWE style. Yeah, he gets hurt a fair bit, but that could be bad luck or for reasons out of Sin Cara's control, too. I say give the character more focus and rivalries that actually matter.

Hunico is the best ever though.

After ADR showed that frustration, I was hooked. I want this supposed heat between the two to continue and develop into a feud that can be translated to television

Del Rio vs. Christian vs. RVD vs. Sin Cara for the World Title at Night of Champions would be pretty sweet.

If he can't stay healthy long enough for anyone to get engaged by his character, then his character is useless. He's had more than enough chances.

I vote Yes unless he tries to learn English so he can communicate better with his opponents. Being able to cut a promo wouldn't hurt his chances of surviving. They didn't give Kennedy this many chances and he was way more entertaining.

As long as the kiddies buy his masks he's probably not going anywhere. Kids love Sin Cara masks.

Hate to say it but yes. He has no effective way of communicating or interacting with the fans, he already has a Wellness Policy violation and multiple injuries, so many that some (myself not included, BTW) might think he was injury-prone.
