Alright, I can't believe that I'm asking this, but, I can't find any kind of link button to join TPWW hockey when I'm viewing the league page listed in the first post. The UI of yahoo fantasy hockey is different from the last time I used it. I'm signing in with my google account liked I used to.

Edit: finally made it. I typed yahoo fantasy url/10699/invitation in my browser address bar and it put me in the league. :)

I have to make up for baseball. Won the league pre-playoffs, but then got knocked out first round. :n:

I'm also in a keeper league with a bunch of randoms. What makes a keeper league so different/how many years do you 'own' a guy? - this is it's first year.

Because this morning we had an uneven number of teams I had to create an extra team. If someone would like to manage this team let me know.

Although I was initially apprehensive at the auction draft since it's new to me, I did end up enjoying it.

I lost out on a few favourite players, but all in all, this should be a fun season.

Man does my team ever suck. I have no goalies. I've made a couple trade requests. Be nice! Maybe Moonax can tell me what team is the extra team, maybe I'd rather have it than the one I have LOL

So, minimum goalie appearances is set to 4. With 30 starting goalies in the NHL and 18 teams in tpww, not every team can have 2 starters on their roster, making it very unlikely for a bunch of the teams to get 4 goalie appearances in a week.

Are the league settings locked down, or can they be edited? If we could drop the min goalie appearances, the teams with strong goalies will always win their matchups in goalie stats, but at least the teams without 2 regular starting goalies will not be automatically disqualified from the matchup for the given week.

The settings aren't locked down and can be changed. I suggest we give it a couple of weeks and see how it goes.

It maybe that a starting goalie is worth a hell of a lot in this league.

I'm probably going to have to bail on this league. Sorry guys, but my team is so hampered and I've made numerous trade requests and either teams reject them (wanting a ransom for a goalie) or the trade just sits there because I bet the public people are also going to not be active/accept trades. By the end of next week, I'll let you guys know. I'll set my 'best' roster and walk away so it's at least fair for the people that go up against this team.
