RVD WHC?
 

RVD has been on a tear, to me, the fashion he seems to win his matches in, and from what I read how the crowd gets behind him. Does anyone else feel like RVD will walk out of NOC with the WHC? Also, like I said, I only have been able to read the results my cable is out. Is RVD putting on good matches?

I have a feeling he won't walk out with the title but he should. He's really over and he'd instantly bring some credibility back to the title. I'd actually like to see him have a long reign with it but I don't know if this full-time return is long-term.

If he wins the title he'll lose it the same night (or soon after) to Damien Sandow. You're welcome.

I don't think Sandow is ready/should be WHC either, but I'd rather have him as champ than RVD. (Especially if he goes on to fight Christian)

I would not be opposed to seeing Ricardo betray RVD and kick-start this feud with Del Rio into high gear.

Fully support RVD winning the title off Del Rio. RVD is better than anything on Smackdown.

Agreed. Ricardo seems opportunistic in his choice of RVD as his new BFF. Rodriguez will probably pull a Scotty Anton on RVD so Del Rio retains.

A real feud between Del Rio and RVD could be just what the title needs to get some attention.

He's a guy who was over in a more popular era who can still go in the ring better than 99% of the guys who are coming up today learning the "WWE style".

As I stated previously, if RVD were to win the World Heavyweight Championship, he would join the exclusive club of wrestlers who have won the WWE Championship, World Heavyweight Championship and ECW Championship along with Big Show, Kane and CM Punk.

Del Rio would get more heat if he came out to "Mexican Radio," or Epico & Primo could use a rap cover of that song.

I was never a major RVD fan. I see the appeal, though, and you cannot deny he is over and draws people into what he is doing. For that reason, it makes total sense that the WWE uses him in the title picture.

The only reason I wouldn't go with RVD at Night of Champions is because I think Del Rio is amazing and have no problem with him keeping the title against almost anyone at this point.
