WWE Top 15 PPVs of all time.

– WWE.com has ranked the top 15 PPV events ever, which you can check out here. Their top 15 PPVs are:

15. WWE Survivor Series 1995
14. ECW Heat Wave 1998
13. WWE Backlash 2009
12. WCW Bash at the Beach 1996
11. WWE Extreme Rules 2012
10. WWE In Your House: Canadian Stampede
9. WWE No Way Out 2001
8. ECW One Night Stand 2005
7. WWE Summerslam 2013
6. WCW Great American Bash 1989
5. WWE WrestleMania III
4. WCW Spring Stampede 1994
3. WWE Royal Rumble 2000
2. WWE Money in the Bank 2011
1. WWE WrestleMania X-Seven

First thought... Where the hell is SummerSlam 2002???? Wrestlemania 19 deserve a spot in Top 15 as well I think.

Everyone's thought of above list?

Shisen Kopf 09-11-2013 07:17 PM

Rasslemania 6

scatterbrain28 09-11-2013 07:24 PM

Wrestlemania 2000Wrestlemania X-7
Survivor Series 98
Survivor Series 99
Royal Rumble 2000
St. Valentine's Day Massacre 2/14/99 (totally f'n awesome)
Vengeance 2002

Corporate CockSnogger 09-11-2013 09:16 PM

I think I've only seen like 5 of those

Fignuts 09-12-2013 02:22 AM

Summerslam 02 should be on the main list, and Wrestlemania 19 should replace X-7

Black Widow 09-12-2013 02:58 AM

Horrible list. I can't even name one match from most of those PPV's.

Juan 09-12-2013 03:59 AM

Wasn't InVasion a really successful PPV? Like most buys for a non-WrestleMania or something like that?

Bad News Gertner 09-12-2013 04:43 AM

Yeah it was hugely successful and if you just take that one event as a whole, it was fantastic.

Edge and Christian vs Storm and Awesome was great
APA vs O'Haire and Palumbo was a solid hard hitting match
Kidman vs X Pac was a great match. Good contrast of style
Raven vs Regal was nice
Tajiri vs Tazz was good
RVD vs Jeff Hardy was fantastic
The Alliance vs Team WWF was possibly the greatest collection of talent in one match: Booker T,DDP, Rhino, The Dudleyz vs Stone Cold, Kane, Taker, Angle and Jericho

Heck, I even enjoyed Kanyon, Stasiak, Morrus vs Billy Gunn, Big Show and Albert

Only stinkers were Trish and Lita vs Stacey and Torrie, and Nick Patrick and Hebner

Anybody Thrilla 09-12-2013 04:45 AM

I was at InVasion, and I can tell you it wasn't in the top fifteen. I believe the buys being huge, seeing as to how there was still an inkling of WWF v. WCW feeling "legit". Not a terrible show or anything, but the main event was like a ten man tag or something. Fuck that.

Bad News Gertner 09-12-2013 05:01 AM

Agreed. They should have just left that for Survivor Series. I also agree, not top 15, but I've noticed over the years people act like it was a horrible ppv, which isn't the case. I enjoyed it greatly.

That is correct. 730,000 buys. It got more buys than Wrestlemania 14 which had Tyson. Actually ranks 18th behind 17 Wrestlemanias.

Was surprised to see Rumble 2000 in there but it did give us a pretty great Tag Table match, the debut of Tazz, a fantastic brawl between HHH vs. Cactus Jack for the World Title and a controversial finish to the Rumble match. Pretty good PPV.

Survivor Series 98 should be in there though.

I find the Canadian Stampede except for the main event to be HIGHLY over-rated.

I liked Sasuke/TAKA, but other than that I agree. The HHH/Mankind match was alright, but one of their worst in terms of how great their matches were together usually.

Bad News Gertner 09-12-2013 07:05 AM

Sasuke/Taka was pretty good, but HHH/Mankind were still getting their feet wet in the company and Vader vs Taker was just alright as well.

#1-norm-fan 09-12-2013 08:55 AM

I like the top 2. As others have said, SummerSlam 2002 needs to be on the list.

And it's nice to see Extreme Rules 2012 on the list. I might even put it in my top 5 of all time. Incredible PPV.

Savio 09-12-2013 09:44 AM

DB vs Sheamus 2/3 falls gave us Sheamus's greatest match.

Bad News Gertner 09-12-2013 09:47 AM

Fully Loaded 1999 was amazing.

The Condor 09-12-2013 12:21 PM

Money in the Bank 2011, not really. Beside the great main event I cannot recall one match from it.

How does that make it a horrible list and not just that you're a mong?

A brisk witticism from Savior.

Iv'e seen my fair share of ppv's and if i can't remember half of these cards it's wrong.

Or maybe the brain damage you clearly suffer from has impacted your memory?

Savio 09-12-2013 03:34 PM

Guys AJ Lee's like 15 so it's actually understandable that she doesn't remember half of these

Black Widow 09-12-2013 03:37 PM

^^i'm 23 anyway

KotR 1998
Royal Rumble 2001
Survivor Series 2002
Fully Loaded 2000
Vengeance 2005
Royal Rumble 1992 is nowhere in sight

all these are better than most of what is listed

whiteyford 09-12-2013 03:47 PM

I don't remember any of them so clearly your list is shit.

whiteyford 09-12-2013 03:47 PM

That's how this works right?

Unlike the 15 listed?

seapig4 09-12-2013 03:52 PM

I don't know if it was a PPV but I always thought One Night Only was a good card.

i remember the whole card from the one's i listed and not just one thing.

whiteyford 09-12-2013 04:12 PM

So because you don't remember anything about the ones listed it's a horrible list? That's the gist of your 'argument' right?

whiteyford 09-12-2013 04:13 PM

Why the fuck am I trying to debate anything with a sock/mong?

Vastardikai 09-12-2013 05:16 PM

Lack of '92 Rumble or Summerslam '91.

dronepool 09-12-2013 09:52 PM

I just got ECW One Night Stand 2005 for 5 dollars on DVD because it was sitting on the shelf for a while and I saw this thread.

Corporate CockSnogger 09-12-2013 09:58 PM

I think Survivor Series 1998 is the only PPV I could name every match on and that's only cause I looked at the VHS of it like two weeks ago before throwing it away so the bracket is pretty fresh in my mind. Pretty sure that's the only PPV I've ever seen more than once as well.
