Absolute CHAOS backstage at RAW

CHAOS backstage at RAW:

Quote:

WZROnline.com spoke with a source backstage at RAW on Monday night in Seattle that informed us that there was massive turmoil as a result of the main event segment on the show.

The top management figures in the company were very upset over the crowd reaction during “The Ascension” segment featuring many past WWE and World Champions that closed out the show. While WWE expected Daniel Bryan to be more over than usual due to his Washington-based roots, they were caught off guard by the way the crowd hijacked the featured segment of the evening, one that was designed as the final “hard sell” for Sunday’s TLC pay-per-view. Vince McMahon at one point said they would never come to Seattle again he was so upset, though it is believed he has since calmed down.

There is also severe backstage heat on several guys, including John Cena and CM Punk. Punk and Randy Orton apparently had words, while Cena was in trouble for going completely off-script during his promo on Orton.

As one source told WZROnline.com, “Orton was extremely pissed and threw a fit backstage, and things are not looking good.” The source added, “It was completely out of control near the gorilla position immediately after the show went off the air.” This was obviously a result of Cena’s harsh comments towards him during the TLC “go-home” promo for their title unification match this Sunday.

Additionally, WWE Hall Of Famer Bret “The Hitman” Hart was upset at the “Montreal Screwjob” reference made by Orton during his promo. While Orton’s comments about the infamous Survivor Series incident were apparently scripted, Hart was not informed ahead of time that they were coming and had words with management backstage.

As far as Punk is concerned, WZROnline.com is hearing that “The Best In The World” is again seriously contemplating retirement, or simply parting ways with WWE. As noted in the past, Punk is dealing with a number of injuries and is generally unhappy with the direction WWE is currently headed. Punk is known to be “moody” at times and whether or not this is another example of that, or the real deal this time, remains to be seen.

Was this before or after they were all doing Spinnaroonies?

Volare 12-11-2013 12:48 PM

Spinnaroonies make everyone happy!

slik 12-11-2013 12:58 PM

CM Punk did the spinaroonie in his underwear. Very tiny black bikini underwear. Not sure why he took his trunks off or where they went.

I saw the vid before it was taken down. Steph started giggling uncontrollably and then Punk ran over and hugged her.

Hahaha a report that comes very close to my reports of Vincent K McMahon kicking over a bin

"It was completely out of control near the gorilla position"

I can only assume The Doghouse is a male strip club

So Vince is pissed at the best segment he's had on any of his Television shows in a very long time? Can't see where they would be sucking at life right now for the most part. Throw another comedy segment out there, Vince.

That last segment was BY FAR the most entertaining thing they did on the show or have done in months.

Chaos is a ladder. Many who try to climb it fail, and never get to try again. The fall breaks them. And some are given a chance to climb, but refuse. They cling to the realm, or love, or the gods…illusions. Only the ladder is real. The climb is all there is. But they’ll never know this. Not until it’s too late.

it's on the internet so it must be true

Vastardikai 12-11-2013 03:54 PM

Newziest Newz that's ever been Newzed up.

Mr. Nerfect 12-11-2013 04:22 PM

Don't believe a fucking word of that.

Daniel Bryan has been consistently over in almost every location the WWE has gone. They'll be in Dogpiss, Texas and the fans will still be chanting for him. The night after Survivor Series, John Cena confronting Randy Orton received "Daniel Bryan!" chants. I don't for a second believe that the WWE were not expecting a HUGE reaction for Bryan a stone's throw from his hometown.

I also don't believe John Cena would get into trouble for anything ever. His promo was apparently amazing and hyped TLC better than most of the build-up has. Why would Vince be upset with quality? It's not like Cena completely shot the program -- he just did his thing, and as the biggest star the company has, if anyone gets a shot to do that then it should be Cena. Orton being upset? He was probably pissed he just didn't get to do spinaroonies as the mega-heel of the company. I'm sure he can take a few comments from Cena, and understands that it's his role to be dislikeable and have shit heaped on him.

CM Punk considering retirement is probably the only thing I would possibly give any credence to, just because the guy has probably made enough money and does seem to go to the beat of his own drum. That being said, he absolutely loves wrestling and has a lot more money to make with the WWE -- especially as we head up to WrestleMania season. Doing a spinaroonie in your underwear either shows happiness or an "I don't give a fuck attitude," so that could be taken either way. It seems he and Stephanie McMahon get along, though, so I'm sure the stories of Punk's disagreements with management are often exaggerated.

All I got from this is (true or not)

Bret Hart needs to stop being a baby
John Cena does not get in trouble

Watching RAW, it is obvious they were dropping hints that they wanted Daniel Bryan to win Superstar of the Year. This is all a big work.

dronepool 12-11-2013 05:56 PM

How were the ratings during that part? It was the best end RAW in months and not the on cue brawl.

Theo Dious 12-11-2013 05:58 PM

Yeah the whole "HBK & Bryan" storyline running through the awards couldn't possibly have been louder.

Mr. Nerfect 12-11-2013 06:38 PM

I'm still absolutely intrigued as to where this tension between Shawn Michaels and Daniel Bryan is going. Sure, it might just be there at the moment and such, but why would HBK come back and agree to heel it up for no good reason at all? Why wouldn't he have just aimed for Orton with the Sweet Chin Music, but missed, got Bryan and then be forced to count the three on his student? This should be leading somewhere.

CM Punk and Triple H came to blows on RAW this week, and if you consider those battle-lines drawn, then D-Generation X vs. The Best in the World & The Greatest of All-Time would be a suitable tag team main event somewhere. The singles matches are probably more cash-money, but if HBK was willing to come back and work a few matches (fuck his "retirement," I would just be thrilled to get HBM back), then those would be two obvious ones.

Imagining the Gorilla Position as a scene of tranquility, then a Harlem Shake.

Good, wrestling is at its best when the backstage is in chaos.

Completely agree with this. If anyone was upset backstage over this promo, they need their heads examined. This was one of the best segments in recent history. Attitude era level good.
