Heat on AJ Lee Over Backstage Incident

http://www.lordsofpain.net/news/wwe/...html#idc-cover

Aj must be punished, punished by me!!

seriously. Even if this is true, I doubt the punishment will be harsh considering Aj has too much stock within the WWE.

st be punished, punished by me!!

Razzamajazz 12-15-2013 01:05 PM

not giving them a hit

Bad News Gertner 12-15-2013 01:14 PM

AJ Lee's must be punished

Kingofdaswing 12-15-2013 01:47 PM

What stock does she have in WWE? She's not on their "awesome" reality show Total Divas. She is easily replaceable and to be honest would she really be missed if WWE cut her loose? I doubt it.

XL 12-15-2013 01:50 PM

What did she do?

ClockShot 12-15-2013 01:51 PM

I think the bigger question is how did Michele Beadle get stuck doing Tribute to the Troops?

Acted like "Crazy AJ" in real life.

Wrestling Observer editor Dave Meltzer disclosed in a podcast that Lee saw NBC personality Michelle Beadle (who was on hand hosting the event) chatting with CM Punk backstage at the event and "freaked out." More specifically, Lee threw an obscenity-laced tirade at the popular television personality.

Meltzer says that a lot of people in the company were very embarrassed and angry at Lee over the incident, mainly for "coming off like her character in real life, and not in a good way." She is expected to be disciplined for her behavior.

Deep Heat on AJ Lee's Back Indent

The Rogerer 12-15-2013 02:29 PM

Also, why do these shitehawks think that using wrestling terminology makes them look in the know, when they're using it flat out wrong. Heat is a crowd reaction. I'm sure the HR department at a dairy factory doesn't write that they are curdling over misconduct.

Fignuts 12-15-2013 03:24 PM

"Heat" is also used to describe if a person isn't well liked backstage.

Fignuts 12-15-2013 03:26 PM

Also, this still doesn't say what Beadle said or did. Girlfriend or not, I doubt Punk would be defending her actions like this if she just walked up and started throwing f-bombs for no reason.

"Heat" can be used to describe management being upset with talent, or even talent being upset at other talent.

I still remember one of the SvR games with Tazz on ECW commentary asking, "No offense, I wonder who I got heat with to be stuck next to you all night."

Looks like AJ Lee is headed straight to the

3 things:

1. My first instinct on this is NEWZ.

2. IF 1 isn't the case, do you remember when living the gimmick was considered a good thing?

3. We'll know if it isn't 1 when, and only when, AJ drops the title to one of the worthless Bellas.

Kingofdaswing 12-15-2013 04:25 PM

It's a work. Michelle vs AJ at WM.

I spoke with a source with knowledge of the incident and was told AJ Lee was kayfabing Beadle, however, WWE officials didn’t take well to it. I’m told AJ was pulled to the side and screamed at in front of others. CM Punk is upset and doesn’t feel AJ should get heat for remaining in character.
Quote:

While it remains unknown what exactly happened, Beadle had an interaction with CM Punk backstage at the taping. AJ Lee approached her and began essentially cutting a promo, similar to what she does on television regarding the “Total Divas.” It was then company officials stepped in and scolded her for her behavior.

Getting a bigger reaction than anyone not named Cena/Bryan/Punk/Orton.

Making a division relevant something no other current Diva can do.

Vastardikai 12-15-2013 05:35 PM

Pointless observation: If celebrity isn't aware that a particular wrestlers portrays a certain character, and that her actions are very similar to the actions of said certain character, that would imply that the celebrity isn't all that interested in the product. If the celebrity isn't all that interested in the product, why spend money to subject her to people who ARE?

My only question is When can we book a Catfight between the two and can I sign up for that usual "roll over the ref" spot?

This kinda also makes me think Natalya may be Divas Champion after tonight.

Razzamajazz 12-15-2013 05:42 PM

am i the only one who doesn't know who Michele Beadle is?

Let's hope this leads to AJ being released and if not that, then becoming the new Alicia Fox.

Cool King 12-15-2013 06:20 PM

Seriously though, she should be punished in some way.

Even if it's a tiny punishment.

It sounds like AJ Lee took a calculated risk. A title is just that, but stuff like this will make people remember her after she's retired.

Tom Guycott 12-16-2013 01:23 AM

True. I mean, you mention Cornette, and chances are the first thing you'll hear about is Dairy Queen above any mention of managing any Expresses, color coordinating tennis racquets, or SMW.

This post wasn't sarcasm.

#1-norm-fan 12-16-2013 04:09 AM

She seems so likable. I'd like to think she's not really crazy in the bad way but this doesn't sound good.

#1-norm-fan 12-16-2013 04:19 AM

Luckily Punk digs crazy chicks so maybe this was some weird foreplay.
