Will probably go see this when it comes out, enjoyed the first two.

Kalyx triaD 12-19-2013 02:27 PM

That lineup looks insane.

JimmyMess 12-19-2013 02:46 PM

FUCKING EPIC.

so awesome.

Corndad 12-19-2013 02:51 PM

My Gawd. Can't wait for this.

Crimson 12-19-2013 11:20 PM

Awesome. So Im guessing Gibson is the baddy this time?

Loved JCVD in the last one. Just wish the fight against Stallone made him look stronger, he looked weak.

Crimson 12-19-2013 11:22 PM

Best scene from part 2.

Kalyx triaD 12-19-2013 11:24 PM

Yeah the fight seemed like a squash match. Mel buffed up, though, he looks good.

Raven Reaper 12-19-2013 11:54 PM

Holy shit! Ronda Rousey!?!? The only reason I watch UFC these days. lol. Love her!

JimmyMess 12-20-2013 02:50 PM

I would let Ronda put me in an armbar any day

You are that big of a fan of hers and didn't know she was doing this?

Been pretty big news for about a year now.

Fignuts 12-20-2013 03:00 PM

Still no Tony Jaa. Damn it.

CSL 12-20-2013 03:03 PM

he's doing Fast 7

Kalyx triaD 12-20-2013 03:44 PM

Not anymore.

DaveBrawl 12-20-2013 04:07 PM

Was hoping for more Van Damme in this one, as the early rumors had him returning to play his character's brother. Still looks good though.

Heisenberg 12-20-2013 04:20 PM

Van Damme and Stallone in 2 was glorious, it had a lot of elements needed to produce testosterone

Tony Jaa is largely rumored to be involved with Fast 7 if he didn't do scenes already. In any case production obviously came to a halt.

Fignuts 12-22-2013 03:19 AM

I dunno.

There's typically not a lot of time for kicking with all that driving they're always doing. Would still rather see him in like Stone Cold's role in the first movie. Jaa vs Li dream match, and all that.

Kalyx triaD 12-22-2013 03:21 AM

There's lots of fist fights in the Fast movies.

But yeah Jaa should really be in Expendables. And I nominate Tom Cruise for villain in Ex4.

Fignuts 12-22-2013 03:26 AM

Tom Cruise and his evil shoe lifts.

Yeah, no, I'm not going to be able to take someone seriously as a villain who was jumping up and down on Oprah's coach like a 13 year old girl.

How about Ian McKellen?

Between LOTR and X-men he's been an action movie staple for over a decade now, and he's got the acting chops to be a better bad guy than anyone.

He's not a has-been like the most of the Expendables cast.

Kalyx triaD 12-22-2013 12:51 PM

Expendables is a successful franchise so anyone involved 'are-doing'.

Rammsteinmad 12-22-2013 12:53 PM

Randomly thought that I wouldn't mind seeing Michael Jai White in one of these movies.

He's not a has been. He sold his soul to Tyler Perry. He's been in two major movies and has a 'hit' tv show.

And he's Bronze Tiger on Arrow!!!!

Swiss Ultimate 12-22-2013 08:19 PM

Tyler Perry makes a lot of money. I would sell my "soul" to him.

Krimzon7 12-22-2013 11:49 PM

TYler Perry has bought a city down here. A. CITY. He's like 80% Responsible for the movie industry considering ATL like they do. Tyler Perry Studios is a big deal here.

Swiss Ultimate 12-23-2013 12:48 AM

Tyler Perry and Twilight. Lots of money, but still no respect from the white man. (Outside of Mitt Romney maybe)

Hugo Weaving fits the bill quite nicely. Would also love to see them put Michael Jai White and Robin Shou in this series at some point.

Jaa is definitely in, somebody (Rock probs given he's the only guy in the film I follow) posted a pic of themselves on Twitter with him quite a while back

They're in BUCKHEAD!!!! Those buildings look sooo familiar.

Kalyx triaD 02-06-2014 12:46 PM

The story for "ExpendaBelles":

Quote:

When America’s Navy SEALs are wiped out trying to penetrate the island lair of a deadly despot who has captured one of the world’s top nuclear scientists, it becomes clear that there is no such thing as the right man for the job and that this is a mission so impossible that only women can handle it. The only way in: some of the world’s deadliest female operatives must pose as high-class call-girls shipped in by private plane to satisfy a dictator–and instead save the scientist and the day.
Pretty much as ridiculous as the male series. Love it.

Ermaximus 02-11-2014 11:02 AM

So Rousey, Carano, Rodriguez, and who else? Cyborg?

loopydate 02-11-2014 11:16 AM

Linda Hamilton? Sigourney Weaver? Trying to think of more older-school action heroines.

DaveBrawl 02-11-2014 11:22 AM

Linda Carter

Krimzon7 02-11-2014 11:52 AM

If Grace Jones isn't in it...I call bullshit to the whole project.

DaveBrawl 02-11-2014 12:00 PM

Lucy Liu

All good picks! Would Zhang Zhi fit in that category too? I'd say Bridgette Neilson, but do any of us really wanna see that?

Fignuts 02-11-2014 02:58 PM

How could you forget Milla Jovovich?

She's like THE female action star.
