Justice League WAR
I know the New 52 is what it is...but this movie is coming down the pipeline. I know that we're all usually pretty fond of DC's animated movies. Are you excited for this?

I'm pretty excited for these, I love the DC animated movies. Flashpoint was killer, so I'm expecting big things from WAR

Flashpoint was so dark. It was soo brutal. I loved every minute of it. Kinda interested in seeing new people taking over for Batman and Superman(speaking of voice talent).
Been looking around for a link...no luck just yet. |
That's surprising, because it officially releases next month, I can usually find them around this time.

When it leaks/is out I will watch it. I like the DC animated movies, never heard of the arc its based on but this just means I'll be surprised.

The only clip I've seen looked bad so far.
Batman fistfighting Parademons, which is silly. The arc it's based on isn't real whoop-de-doo, Geoff John's run on Justice League has been a bit of bust thus far. Now if they make a 'Court of Owls' animated film I would be very excited. |
Yeah, if they really wanted to showcase the good points of the New 52, they should've led with either the Court if Owls or Superman and the Men of Steel. Or the first arc of the new Wonder Woman; that was badass. The first Justice League, though? No thanks.

The movies tend to drift away from their storyline counterparts so I'm still looking forward to it!

Yeah they have everything, and all the post-DCAU animated movies.
BUT NO THUNDERCAT REBOOT SERIES |
DVD's usually get 'leaked' 2 weeks before street date, so by Monday or Tuesday this thing should be up.

It did leak, and it was all action. Considering the source material, i suppose it could've been worse.

It was alright, pretty good but yeah not as good as Flashpoint.

So, has Flashpoint become the benchmark that all DCAM are compared to? That movie was great, and if that's the case, I understand. I enjoyed this in a vacuum, because I realized that we're getting the TEAM's origin story. I felt like there should have been more 'real' interaction between the teammates. I was most intrigued with Cyborg/Shazam.

Maybe just because Flashpoint was the last movie, and it also happened to be great.
This one just was a lot bundled up very quickly, getting the team together and what not. Maybe they'll have another to build off of this. |
