Just got an X-Box, suggest some games...
I bought an X-Box finally and got Manhunt and Splinter Cell(the first one). I'm loving them both. What are some really good games for the X-Box? I'm sure Halo will come up, and i'll be getting that one soon. I don't really want GTA III or VC cause I played and beat them both when I had the PS2. Hitman Contracts is probably one I will get too...I played it bout a week ago and man, that game rocks. But anywho, any games for X-Box that are a must?

also get Fable, Doom 3, Halo 2, Psi Ops:The Mindgate Cospiracy and Darkwatch when they come out in like 6 thousand years. (most of them get released between August and November)
but since u got Manhunt, and that is one extremely loveable game. you should try The Suffering. It's not stealth, its kinda like Duke Nukem, the third-person style, but you should rent it first. I tmight not be your cup of tea. Also get NHL 2004 or wait for 2005. But I'd get 2004 like right ****ing now. |
No need to get Halo because when Halo 2 comes out November 9, you'll have wasted that money.

Cool. I'm the typical action/adventure lover. I fall in love with games like GTA, Manhunt, and anything else that involves walk-through's or just violence. Is Max Payne 2 good? I played the first one for PS2, and liked it. And it might sound stupid, but I even like dumb kiddy games. Fairly Oddparents and Spongebob are fun to play when you are bored and don't feel like blowing off someone's face. How about Serious Sam? I heard that was a pretty fun game as well.

Erm, Ninja Gaiden is pretty fun, 2nd Splinter Cell > 1st. XBox Live, get it - it makes XBox 9846597465890754750909 times more fun. Project Gotham Racing 2 is a pretty good racing game. Soul Calibur 2 is probably the best fighter at the mo. Can't think :( |

XBox Live is pretty easy to set up. (It's harder for me cause I use AOL Broadband - damn dad - so I have to set it up every time, but then it only takes about 10 seconds)
You need a broadband internet connection, and a LAN wire would be handy. The way I got it set up, I connect to the internet, turn on Internet Connection Sharing, then go to my XBox (the XBox is connected to my network card in my pc). Once you've got the initial hardware setup (connecting to pc, etc) then it's easy to get on. http://www.xbox.com/live - all the details there I have XIII for the PC, it's pretty fun :D |

If you buy the starter kit (£40) you get a year's subscription and the headset, and either a game or a game demo or something. |

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Rebulic (Best XBOX out right now imo) Max Payne 2 (Game is fu</>cking sweet, a bit short tho) Dynasty Warriors 4 Samruai Warrior (When it comes out) Fable ( Next month :cool: ) Suideki ( Next month also :cool: ) Halo Halo 2 ( Nov. 9th :( So far away) XIII ( Cel shadeing at it's best) Timesplitters 2 (A bit old, but still fun, or you can wait for 3) Otagi (Graphics are simply amazing, and the game isn't half bad either) |
Max Payne 2 is best on PC so if you have a PC that can run it don't even bother with Xbox. Fable is going to be the best RPG for the Xbox when it's out. Live is $50/year. Other then that just save your money for upcoming games.

Well, I just bought XIII. I love this game. So awesome. Graphics are simply beautiful. My friend also bought Red Dead Revolver, and that is very nice as well.

Yeah, some sweet games: Ninja Gaiden, Project Gotham Racing (1or2), MGS: Substance, Shenmue II, any EA Sports game, and Star Wars: KOTOR
