Please tell me somebody here watches this show?

I've just finished watching the first (and to date, only, season) and it is phenomenal. Season 2 starts in about 2 weeks, on the 24th or 26th I believe. Can't wait.

The show is on FX, which has been putting out a lot of good TV lately. The setting is in 1980s America during the Cold War, and spies and stuff. Per IMDB:

Watching it for the first idk 3-4 episodes it felt kinda slow, like the pacing was off, but from midseason onward it ramped up pretty good. Not overly action-packed ie explosions and car chases every week or anything but there's some there. Focuses a lot on character relationships, especially the dynamic of Phillip and Elizabeth (the two main characters). Mad good show. Plus there's a bunch of awesome 80s music dispersed throughout.

Dunno. The commercial with some dude and some braud plating Russian Roulette looks really bad and cheesy. Puts me off of it.

I don't remember anyone playing Russian Roulette in the show. Just looked on Youtube for a commerial...

That commercial makes it look like there's way more gunfights than there actually tends to be in the show.

Was gonna watch it but missed the first few episodes and watched Adventure Time instead, I should look into it then?

Its pretty good overall but does start off a bit slow like RDD said.

I quite like it, though the spell is broken whenever you see modern cars in the background of the shot.

I watched most of the first season before I fell off at the end. Gonna try to get back into it.

I've been curious about via the commercials that aired for it during American Horror Story.

Generally find I like most programs on FX that I've seen.

I enjoyed the first season, but it's definitely a bit of a slow burner.
