C&C: Red Alert 2

I last played this series with red alert 2. I have the itch to play online again. Is there any new red alert game that still supports online play?

I loved red alert, and generals.

Brings me back. Don't know if there's any new games with online though, which is too bad.

I imagine Red Alert 3 still has online play, but I dunno whether it's still supported by EA.

I love Red Alert 2 though, pity I can no longer get it to run. :(

My text ringtone is "Silos needed" from Red Alert 2.

Doesn't have Red Alert 2, but it's probably the closest you can get to playing older RTS games online. If I remember right, they are looking to add Red Alert 2 into it later on.

And this is to add the music in, apparently the music isn't in it: http://www.sleipnirstuff.com/forum/v...p?f=83&t=15063

I rememeber Yuri's Revenge really didn't like the move to Windows XP. It would take minutes to load each level for some reason. Doesn't bode well, I've always had trouble getting the old C&C games running on modern systems.

Generals was probably my favorite even though I couldn't beat the final China mission. Can't keep the GLA at bay.

Just picked up a C&C collection at walmart that contains every single game and expansion up to C&C 4.

The word "epic" is often overused, but I think in this case, it fits.

how much?

The Destroyer 02-26-2014 08:09 AM

All I can find that looks similar is a digital download package with all the games. Looks to be $20-ish.

The reviews I can find suggest the older games still have major compatibility issues though, even though they're allegedly meant to have been updated to run on Windows Vista and 7. So I wouldn't bother. Have to run through Origin as well and I know a lot of people hate it.
