Jake the Snake, Santinio, Chris Masters, Zack Ryder, Tommy Dreamer and many more.
and then there was Dolph Ziggler who is the biggest a$$hole to people who are his fans. My buddies and I were not rude to Ziggler at all but approached him from the side and just stated we are huge fans and wish him an awesome future in the WWE; the guy proceeds to tell us to leave him alone and to not disturb him.
I told him that we came from Canada and our friends came from Ireland and if we could just have a quick picture; Ziggler responds everyone is from fucking somewhere else and to fuck off.
10 feet behind Ziggler Tommy Dreamer was walking and saw the shocked looks on our faces. He stopped to chat and spent 2-3 minutes taking pictures with us and many other fans. He made up for the Ziggler incident and went on his way
Ziggler; good luck in your future you'll always be remembered as the Spirit Squad who got shit on.
Btw Chris Masters such a chill and cool guy; he was totally putting people into the masterlock and giving headlocks. The guys arms are HUGE! "

What do you think? I like to hear both sides of the story, being down on Bourbon Street and being famous on top of that must be mad stressful. I'm going to put my foot down and defend Ziggler and await his response. I don't like it when fans try to trash or get famous off a guy who has worked hard and was probably out and about to wind down from their busy schedule.

Nark Order 04-04-2014 01:48 PM

He's a guy who gets stress like everyone else does. I would probably be an asshole sometimes in the same situation.

Heisenberg 04-04-2014 01:55 PM

Exactly, I got snuffed by Road Dogg at a TNA house show, but after a bit I realized it was cause he was in a hurry and I was just happy to at least tell him he was loved and all. Their backstage areas for house shows are so wide open, so idk if that leads to them resenting everyone, I don't know. Definitely mad about it, but like would never try and get upvotes on Reddit and make him out to be evillll

Heisenberg 04-04-2014 02:01 PM

I'm sitting here thinking, maybe Ziggler was cutting a heel promo and they couldn't understand him

whiteyford 04-04-2014 02:03 PM

Tommy Dreamer is still the nicest guy in wrestling though.

Disagree. Theres a difference between getting stressed, and being an asshole about it. You know for a fact this is part of your job, and you're gonna tell some people to "fuck off" just because you may be a little "stressed?"

This is all assuming that these guys accounts are accurate, but if they came at Ziggler the way they say, and Ziggler responded how they said, he's 100% in the wrong. If youre so stressed, why are you hanging out on Bourbon St? As far as the story shows, it wasn't a media appearance.

Like I said, two sides. But from this view, no excuse for Ziggler being rude like that.

And Berg, theres a difference between being snuffed and ignored cuz a guy was in a rush, and being told "Everyone is from somewhere, now fuck off" that's just unnecessarily asshole status lol, cmon man.

Heisenberg 04-04-2014 02:09 PM

Let's hear him out first, I get what you're saying, but as a fellow Champion who has spent a whole weekend on Bourbon Street, I know how intoxicated and warped one can get and we don't know if Ziggler was provoked or not

Shadrick 04-04-2014 02:10 PM

I'm a little more inclined to believe this because Downstait said they met Ziggler and he was a dickhead to them as well.

Rammsteinmad 04-04-2014 02:10 PM

Someone told someone else to fuck off.

There's bigger things going on in the world.

You're not Rammsteinmad at me are you? Rammsteinsad until proven otherwise

ron the dial 04-04-2014 02:28 PM

i love it. good job, ziggler.

Lock Jaw 04-04-2014 02:40 PM

Also, these fans in question could have been complete assholes who ambushed him and started being very annoying. They then go on the internet and complain.

Nark Order 04-04-2014 02:48 PM

I'm required to be pleasant for my job all the time as well. But sometimes I'm an asshole. It happens.

Black Widow 04-04-2014 03:13 PM

He may think if he starts treating fans like punk then he will get big.

Tazz Dan 04-04-2014 03:58 PM

Yeah reading what they said, maybe they felt because they had travelled to WM, they had this entitlement for him to do whatever they asked. And I'm sure they weren't the first fans that night. And again, this is their version. They talk about how they're big fans, and then go on to say that spirit squad line. Seems like sour grapes to me.

Tazz Dan 04-04-2014 03:58 PM

They/he/she whatever.

Heisenberg 04-04-2014 04:17 PM

I completely forgot about the Spirit Squad until they said this, now I'm pissed off

Hanso Amore 04-04-2014 05:08 PM

I will believe a Wrestlers of a fucking smark mutie 100 times out of 100.

Guarantee this is complete bullshit.

Theo Dious 04-04-2014 06:40 PM

I have a hard time believing it's true. Even Ziggler isn't this dumb.

McLegend 04-04-2014 07:33 PM

Ziegler is a heel, and if he wants to be dick to someone then he should do it.

Maluco 04-04-2014 07:34 PM

Obviously any of this kind of thing is speculation, but a bad attitude would go some way to explaining his slip down the card. Especially when you consider how talented he is. A bad attitude in the new media savvy universe is probably a much bigger black mark than it was before.

Heisenberg 04-04-2014 09:04 PM

We got your back Ziggler

Breaking Bad spoiler, super serial, don't open, not really much, but respect to those that haven't watched

Hurricane is pretty damn cool also.

Tom Guycott 04-05-2014 02:36 AM

That's just it, though. There's been stories of Helms being an ass. Same with Matt Striker at some hotel. And Punk punched a fan in the face. But, then, you'll hear another story about those same three guys being class acts while someone else was being an enormous asshat. There's a lot of open territory between someone being "completely chill" and not.

Also, Burbon Street- these fans may have not been as cool (read: sober)as they presented themselves to be. What they typed may have been more like "We're frum fukin Canada, and our buddy... our buddy here is from fukin, fukin Ireland, dude! Where just... we're big fans and want to wish you luck and shit!" With all the pauses and volume inflections the consumed ammount of alcohol imples.

Sometimes people lie to get famous. For all we know they were pestering him for autographs and being obnoxious.

Also. wtf Tommy Dreamer?

DAMN iNATOR 04-05-2014 12:17 PM

They’re people, just like everyone else, and sometimes shit happens. Like Heisenberg said, I, too shall reserve judgment until/unless there’s some kind of account from Ziggler of how things went down.

Anybody Thrilla 04-06-2014 12:05 PM

Why would Ziggler give an account here? He probably doesn't even remember it, if it even actually happened.

DAMN iNATOR 04-06-2014 02:01 PM

I'm not saying he would, just that if he did it might actually clarify and/or resolve the situation once and for all. That's all.

SlickyTrickyDamon 04-06-2014 05:08 PM

Ziggler was being fake mean to fans on "WrestleMania Today" on WWE Network. Maybe he was doing it for that and went a little bit overboard.

Mercenary 04-06-2014 05:39 PM

Seeing as how I meet Dreamer, and Masters before the guy is right on those two guys. Both are class acts, but Ziggler no clue
