If, for whatever reason, Ric Flair doesn't come back for Evolution's current run, who, and how do you introduce a fourth member? Actually, is a fourth member even necessary?

I'd say a fourth member is required. I'd get Triple H to take on Flair's veteran role as well, and let the fourth member be a young, on-the-rise superstar. Someone between Bad News Barrett, Cody Rhodes, Damien Sandow, Dolph Ziggler, Miz, and Sheamus.

This is interesting. I agree. I think it should be someone young and upcoming. Wade preferably, I don't think anyone else fits that you mentioned.

They should call themselves the 3 horsemen. They can later add Sting (surfer) but keep the 3 Horsemen name.

WWE doesn't do 4 man stables anymore it seems. Shield, Wyatt's, 3MB, all legendary stables, but no more big stables.

First of all, they are never doing War Games because WWE is smart enough to know that multi-ring matches are MOTHERFUCKING RETARDED.

Second, they should totally add another member to fill the "future" role. Sandow would be a great fit if they just blunt the pedantic/comedic thing. Barrett is ready-made for it. Throw them both in.

A fourth guy isn't necessary unless Bryan becomes an unofficial member of the Shield since he shares their common enemy.

While he isn't a new or "future" type guy, Sheamus could join the group as a way for his heel turn and feud with Bryan to occur (assuming both do end up happening).

Sheamus would make the most sense, since he's Trip's workout buddy.

Triple H is a huge fan of the concept and wanted to bring it back for a number of years now. Vince always nixed the idea in the past.

Now that Trips & Steph are pretty much in control it could be coming to the WWE.

Cesaro or Wade Barret would be a good fit.....or Tatanka

Barrett would fit very well. He could even work in the bad news gimmick.

Say he was in a singles match with Reigns. He is getting beat down and does the "Fuck it, I'm leaving" but stops on the ramp where a mic (or even better, his epic 25ft podium) appears and "The good news is, Wade Barrett has new friends. The bad news, they want to meet you face to face" or some bollocks. Have Evolution come through the crowd (which won't happen) and run The Shield's own game on them. Could be a great build-up especially if Bryan temporarily aligned himself with The Shield as Smelly Meatball said.

Think the closest we'll get is 3-on-3 Elimination Chamber.

Obviously if they want to replace Flair they need to get the only other person that woos and does the figure four... The Miz

They could easily do either the 3-on-3 Elimination Chamber that has been in their video games forever, or they could just do the War Games format inside 1 ring in Hell in a Cell for the same effect. Remember, the WWE ring is quite larger than the NWA/WCW rings were. So, they wouldn't be quite as crowded in 1 ring as they would have been in WCW, plus the ringside area EC and HIAC have would give them more room also.

Already said they should have used Cessaro in the role instead of pairing with Heyman.

Cody Rhodes makes more sense in Evolution than Cesaero.

If they wanted a fourth member a great twist would be to have Roman Reigns turn on the shield and beat down the others at Extreme Rules during the match and then join Evoluton in the celebrations at the end?

roman reigns actually looks like he could be a member of evolution. not sure i can say that about anybody else on the roster. maybe cesaro, but that just doesn't feel right to me. no matter what, i hope they don't add a new member. i hope it's a short lived reunion that serves to put the shield over, and that's it.

If I were to go the younger route, Cody Rhodes would be my pick but I was thinking more of a veteran/old timer would be best fit for the stable. I like the Lesnar idea tbh.

Yesterday I would've agreed with the idea of Cesaro but that was so long ago

When Evolution came out, it was like I instantly forgave Batista and Randy Orton for their sins. They don't work as a single unit for me and the reunion will make it all good again.
