If you were putting on a "Legends" show...
 

So there have been plenty of nostalgia/ legends wrestling shows as an attempt to draw fans. If you were to book a legends wrestling show, and you couldn't use somebody under contract by TNA or WWE (and thinking about who can actually still put on a decent match), who would you put as your main event?

I'd go with Tommy Dreamer vs DDP, no DQ falls count anywhere (both guys have plenty of fans and can still put on a pretty good match).

Does DDP still even wrestle?

Mine would probably be something really random like Hurrican Helms vs. Tony Mamaluke or something lame like that.

Or, y'know... RAMMSTEINMAD VS. ROLLERMACKA!

The Headbangers vs The Steiner Brothers in a triple cage match!!!!

Or Goldberg/Sid/DDP/Foley...still a surprising amount of big names out there.

Punk is still under contract.

Goldberg would never do it unless you have the money to contend with WWE.

That's only a formality.
But if you want to play the game like that, then replace Punk with Colt Cabana.

He's signed until June/July and there's a clause in the contracts that allow WWE to extend the contracts to cover loss of time for injuries so I wouldn't say it's cut and dry yet.

He did some shows a few years ago. He stays active, I'm guessing if the money is right he'd do it.

Honestly the best non-clusterfuck main event that I could come up with that would be any good AND feature guys that casual fans would be familiar with would be Jericho vs Morrison.

That sounds workable, if we could get Maven back in the ring. He seems pretty nonplussed about his wrestling past.

Irrespective of who's wrestling, I would not have Steve O'Neill or Mark Livingston (guys from PA) book it. What a pair of dicks! :nono:

When news gets out that Maven is on the card, tickets will be sold out and ratings will go through the roof.

Rowdy Roddy Piper vs Matt Stiker- Winner gets to interview Vader in Piper's Pit or The Classroom before his match (and then gets destroyed by Vader)

John Morrison and Michael Tarver vs Carlito and Chris Masters- Basic tag match wit 3 people we used to care about. Morrison is just there to get a hot tag and do a few flips.

Beth Phoenix vs Lita- Basic Women's Match

Tornado Tag Lucha Rules: Super Crazy & Juventud Guerrera vs Konnan & El Generico (don't give me this bit about Sami Zayn. According to Generico's twitter he went to help orphans, and is not Sami Zayn)

Chris Jericho comes out to cut a promo to close the show, gets interrupted by Lance Storm, they have an impromptu match which ends with a time limit draw after 60 mins.
