I'll be watching.
Every great champ goes through a tough stretch where he's on the verge of losing the belt. This should be a tough fight, Glover should land some shots. But Bones with a late round KO or decision win. |

I suspected Jones would win, and it quickly became clear that Glover would not be able to get to his optimum punching distance without walking eye-first into the fingers of Jones.
Jones would probably have won without doing that, but it still annoys me that he gets away with it in almost every fight. Jones presents shorter opponents with the following options for distance: a) So far away that I can hit you with anything I want, but you can't touch me. b) New eyeballs, please. c) So close that my elbows and takedowns are the only weapons we'll be using here. |
Lol yea he took Glover out of his own game. Well he can't do that to Gus which is why I'm looking forward to the rematch

Yeah how many times has he poked someone in the eye? Sticking his hands and arms out there allows him to gauge the distance and if the other guy is swinging then it'll most likely hit his arms/hands and not his face. And I'm sure he uses the elbow to either gain the advantage of the opponent having a hard time seeing him because of the blood or the chance that the ref will stop the fight. I wish he would not use tricks. Some didn't like Anderson but the fucker stood with his back up against the cage, hands down and still beat his opponents.

A counter wrestler/striker won't beat Jones.
It will be a strong wrestler with Ko power like DC or Rashad. |
