Love Battlefield but hate large engagements? Enjoyed Payday but wish it was PvP?

Smaller scale Battlefield? Hmm... Don't know about the studio, they don't make a damn thing I play.

But it being the interim until B5, perhaps I'll bite.

I dont think BF5 is going to be a DICE game sadly.

It would be insane if Dice wasn't doing B5. I just don't see that happening.

apparently that leaked video is six months old (hence the 'Omaha' name). E3 supposed to be the big reveal of its current (final?) form.

Release window is slated for Fall...likely October, as usual for BF titles.

Yea, this looks pretty damn fun. I like the different approach they took this time. The multiplayer modes (especially heist) seem like they are going to be a helluva good time. Think I'm going to pick this up.

With them doing Star Wars battlefront for next year, the earliest they could release a numerical Battlefield would be 2017 probably and I dont see them waiting that long.

Maybe BF5 drops in 2016 with Dice at the helm. I would hope. But if EA likes what Visceral does here I could see a change after the abortion athat was BF4

Visceral simply don't have the chops to do a numbered Battlefield. It will be Dice. It will likely come out next year IF Battlefront makes it for this Fall or Spring.

I still think this should have been DLC, but I can dig that gameplay.

EA states a beta for the Xbox One will be arriving in the near future although it will feature different content than the PS4 and PC betas had.

Great so far. Found matches and played them. Even as a beta, this is the smoothest Battlefield got up and running in a generation of games.

Definitely want to play long enough to unlock the grappling hook and zipline. Heard those are a blast.

Anyway, I'll be on all weekend too, providing it comes back on. I'll also be picking up BF4 again next week. Bought premium to get all the dlc too.

Seems okay. Feel like the majority of it could have been DLC. Grappling hook and zipline definitely add some unique mechanics for sure. Decent game, definitely not a must buy as of now.

Don't think I was there for that comeback of yours.

Drove the big gas tanker around, for a good 5 minutes before it got blowed up. Netted me almost 3,000 points. Finished second overall. NOTE: k/d ratio of 1 kill, 10 deaths.

Can see what people mean, when they say this could have been DLC. Not that much changed. Few new gadgets, and game modes, both of which could have fit into battlefield 4 very easily.

Honestly, I think Hotwire would be better in BF4's larger maps. Can't get a good high speed chase going in these small constrictive maps. It's just going in circles, pretty much. Hopefully they have a couple larger style maps .

Not quite sold on getting this on day one yet. Will wait and see how much content there is at launch before I decide.

Day one right here.

I'll get it eventually, but Evolve wins this battle.
