They just planted the Seeds PERFECTLY for a Eugene/HHH Feud! HHH may think that Eugene plays games better than him. Thus the feud. It will REALLY elevate Eugene. Smell the Buyrates.

Having not seen RAW, and I won't until this Friday, but the whole eugene with the Rock and a potential feud with HHH would be absolutely wicked!
Just the thought of him pulling off all the other wrestlers moves would be totally cool!

I think it'd be cool if every match Eugene tried to wrestle like somebody else. One day he wrestles like Terry Funk, the next day Hulk Hogan, the next day, HHH. He uses all of their movesets including their finisher.

Didn't Stevie Richards have a gimmick similar to that?

At first i didn't like Eugene...but that guy is the goods

I was actually thinking how they could possibly change his gimmick in the future, since I doubt he'll have this gimmick for his entire career.

I decided it might actually be possible for him to eventually turn heel and announce that he'd faked the whole thing. In actuality, he's a genius but also rather sadistic (think William H. Macy's character in Con Air). He'd kinda be like Triple H in a way that he'd be very arrogant and brash, because he's better than everyone else, but he could also be pretty cruel, taking on the cerebral assassin traits.

Thus the relation to Eugene and Triple H. :D

Or they could just have an angle where he has to change his image (shave, cut his hair, better wardrobe, etc.). His character isn't completely retarded since he seems to understand every word that everyone says, and he responds, so it wouldn't be so far-fetched for him to learn how to be suave and charismatic and elequent, the same way he learned how to wrestle so well.

Wasn't he the genius guy who ended up having tea with the little girl, and at the end of the movie, he was hitting it big at the slots at Vegas? Or maybe I just have the actor name wrong. That's the character I'm talking about. He also had a nifty line that went something like "Define irony: a bunch of convicts celebrating and dancing to a song made famous by a band that died in a plane crash" during the scene where "Sweet Home Alabama" was playing.

I thought they might have to change Eugene's character for the long run, but...

George "The Animal" Steele basically played a simpleton for his whole career, and, in real life, the guy was a frikkin' math teacher. So... I think it might not be so bad to keep the Eugene character around awhile.

I think thats what they will have to do (unless he gets a brain transplant) but if they do that, then that means the WWE has been making fun of mentally challenged people all this time. When the gimmick first came out and people were upset, the WWE PR dept put out some BS about how Dinsmore would be portrayed in a positive light, and they were not makign fun of mentally challenged people. Well, if its all a big ruse, then they are in fact makign fun, which would make them look bad. So there doesn't seem to be a good way to get Dinsmore out of this gimmick.
