Overrated and Underrated (Podcast Question)
 

So, for our next podcast, we're going to talk about the things in wrestling history that get either too much or too little praise, and look at the reasons why. Looking for some feedback to read on the show (and credit your fine selves for contributing), so:

What is the ONE thing (angle/match/wrestler/show/whatever) that you feel is overrated more than anything else, and ONE thing you personally feel is most underrated, and explain why.

Should lead to some good debate on the forum as well. Whaddya think?

Overrated: rasslin podcasts. Underrated: OCW

over-rated: Seth Rollins

under-rated: MG Hurst

Overrated: Paige

Underrated: Tyson Kidd

Overrated: Paige is a wonderful choice Rammsteinmad.

Underrated: Ryback and the entire tag team division.

Overrated :- Royal Rumble (love the concept, but think the execution has been lacklustre for a while, maybe missing Pat Patterson?)

Underrated :- Dolph Ziggler (One of the best workers in the company and should be higher up the card)

Overrated: 80s WWF

Underrates: Triple H

Overrated: Ric Flair

Also massively overrated: Benoit (prior to becoming a psycho killer, qu'est-ce que c'est.)

Sorry, I was just commentating on a very exciting Ric Flair vs Chris Benoit match.

Overrated: The knife edge chop. Stop slapping his sturdy chest and just punch him in the face, you big fanny.

Clearly you are unfamiliar with Cazzam's work. He really brings a new dimension to the knife edge chop that is unseen with scrubs like Chris Benoit or Ric Flair

2000: Dean Malenko vs. Scotty 2 Hotty (Light-Heavyweight Championship)
2001: Rhyno vs. Raven (Hardcore Championship)

Over-rated: Ricky Steamboat. Steamboat's matches arr sooooo over-rated, and he was as bland as fuck.

Under-rated: Rick Martel and Barry Windham

Over-rated: Del Rio

Under-rated: IC title. Should be a way bigger deal than its been for years in the WWE.

Overrated: RVD. Just been coasting on ECW rep since leaving ECW. Just terrible and boring, but somehow just manages to coast on having something for fans to chant and his ECW rep.

Under-rated: Who else but.... Christian

But what aboot WM3. Best match of all time that wasn't Bret Hart vs Stone Cold.

Or Rock vs Hogan, or TLC 1, or Angle vs Lesnar or HBK vs Razor at WM10 or.....Tatanka vs HBK

His match at Invasion vs Jeff Hardy was fantastic.

Overrated: the attitude era
Underrated: Luke Harper

Overrated: Last Man Standing.

Underrated: 2 out of 3 Falls matches.

Over-Rated: NWO

Underrated: Dangerous Alliance

Underrated - AWA prior to 1986 was really a great organization.
Overrated - WCCW (Gee how many times can we see the Von Erichs win before that gets boring)
