StingerMarksTaker ball of unfunny crap

Fuck me or pinch me, and say it isn't real?.
The fact that STING now want's to have 1 last match and face Undertaker is fucking amazing. However they should have kept the streak going and allowed STING to end it... This would have been awesome..

To darkside like prespectives. Imagine the promo's
they'll be epic...... I can't fucking wait for Wrestlemania.

Boo. I can't put the images I want... which would be the ones of 'Taker rocking that wetsuit and the WCW Road Wild toy of Sting on the scorpion themed motorcycle.

The Gold Standard 07-19-2014 10:21 AM

I may be one of the few people who do not want to see the match anymore. Honestly, I do not want to see Taker wrestle at Mania anymore. No streak, no more Taker at Mania for me.

Can I ask why?.

I mean I understand he lost his streak to a part time guy, when he could have lossed it to the guy's like Punk, HHH, or HBK!!!. or even Bryan. However I think Taker was forced into losing the streak rather than him wanting it to happen.

Sting vs Taker has been wanted by so many fans for years. and it could finally happen. I'm just hoping they build this fucker to death so it has a decent enough storyline leading to the ppv. maybe have Kane interfer. Just because Takers streak has ended he can still carry on that legacy I mean the 1 loss means jack shit. he still holds an impressive record to this day.

Tom Guycott 07-20-2014 02:24 AM

Likely because he "went out on his back".

Undertaker is one of the last of the hardcore, old school, "protect the business" era guys, and one of those old school values is to pass that torch.

Even as much as I and I'm sure many others would like to see 'Taker/Sting, the fact is it would be shit on. There's really nothing to be gained by either man to do the match- if Undertaker wins, Sting isn't part of the streak... if Sting wins, 'Taker losing two Wrestlemanias in a row looks a little worse on his legacy, so to speak. It wouldn't be as bad as when Ric Flair "officially" was retired by HBK only to be back in a ring wrestling a few months later (granted elsewhere, but not the point), but it would be treated a little more "ho-hum" than it deserves to be.

Besides, Sting could face just about anyone on the roster at this point and it would be a "dream match" because he's NEVER been in a WWE ring. There's nobody even around he would have been in a match with except Big Show, Regal, and Flair, so pretty much the entire rest of the roster would all be a "never before" attraction.

In fact, I'd go so far as to say as much as I'd like to see Undertaker vs. Sting, I'd rather see, say Sting vs. Cena more. At this point, Cena doesn't need to hold titles. Like it or not, he's an attraction unto himself. They can free him up from the main event picture and insert him into feature matches with something like this.

The current true franchise of the WWE vs The Franchise They Call Sting.

Ruien 07-20-2014 02:31 AM

Undertaker needs to never wrestle again. Streak or no streak the guy is flat out done.

Why would anyone want to see two old guys wrestle each other? This is not the Sting and Taker from 5 to 15 years ago.

Corporate CockSnogger 07-20-2014 05:02 AM

Sting vs Triple H w/ Ric Flair as referee is the bigger dream match if you ask me.

Well, Sting vs HBK w/ Flair as ref would be THE dream match, but Michaels seems to be sticking to his in ring retirement.

Bad News Gertner 07-20-2014 08:32 AM

Sting hasn't been good in 20 years. People are setting themselves up to be very disappointed.

Tazz Dan 07-20-2014 09:00 AM

Hogan hadn't been good in 10 years before WM18

Bad News Gertner 07-20-2014 10:24 AM

Hogan has always been good and always will be good.

It's just something that a lot of people don't think about when they dream about a match between Sting and the Undertaker. It's not gonna be 97 Sting returning with huge arms and a silent demeanor, it's a 56 year old man with almost 30 years of wrestling wear and tear on his body. I'm sure Sting was still trying that last year in TNA, feuding with Magnus and EC3 but he just couldn't do it anymore. As much as I love the Undertaker, I wanna remember him for his performances against HHH and HBK, not as the almost 50 year old man who struggled to keep up with the much younger Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania last year. As much as I'd want to see the match, I don't wanna see them tarnish their legacies anymore.

Shisen Kopf 07-20-2014 05:12 PM

Legacy tarnish match would he great. I would root for Sting to win.

StingerMarksTaker 07-21-2014 01:08 AM

.

What you people see on television is Wrestling, but it's not...
It's "selling" wrestling to you. WWE is a company selling a product.

It doesn't care about the fan base, as long as the fans
are buying tickets, buying it's other products, that is all they care about.

Publcity is the main factor here. Without views, the company
is worthless. All this crap they did for Skull Crusher was a publicity stunt.
And nothing more..... John Cena Is the main corporate toy boy.

He brings the company money, which is why He's champ...
Which is why the little kids love him to death. He's like Justin Bieber.....

The WWE we knew was sold out the moment Vince M bought it from his father. and turned it into a shitty advertisement paradise....

One of the reasons why I said Cena. Cena can do a bit of the heavy lifting, so to speak. He doesn't have to carry the match against a couple of considerably younger guys who aren't exactly green, but aren't really vets either. It could be an entertaining last hurrah for The Stinger, while not an epically technical matchup, it would put asses in seats like Rock/Hogan. While Sting may have lost some steps, it isn't like he's in the "physically can't/shouldn't do it anymore" territory that Undertaker sadly is. Or Flair, for that matter. Not saying he'd come in and look like Steamboat when he took on Jericho either, but I would think Sting has a couple more left in him.

You were being a smartass, and accidentially came up with a great idea. Two fakes do traditional entrances (as Crow and Goth), lock up, have a short back-and-forth match, then the real ones come out with full pomp and circumstance (Surfer and Biker). They stare eachother down, turn to their fake counterparts, and destroy them. Show of respect to eachother in the ring, an equally awesome exit and that's that.

No extended wear on 'Taker or Sting and gives everyone watching an epic moment.

FourFifty 07-21-2014 03:06 AM

And yet they're still the biggest company that produced a product that involves oily men in tights grappling with each other. They must be doing SOMETHING right.

Ha.

Ha..

Ha.. Ha Ha.

The reason it's only big is because Vince got greedy, and bought out 2 promotions company's that could have closed WWE down.

WCW was a classic old school style company,

Ecw was a hardcore over the top venture...

hb2k 07-21-2014 05:07 AM

And Vince bought them out because he was making money and they weren't.

I think everybody is well aware what WWE is and has been for some time now. Welcome to the party, not sure if there's any cake left at this point.

road doggy dogg 07-21-2014 08:22 AM

Damn, I never considered things from this angle before! What a refreshing take, thanks.

screech 07-21-2014 08:36 AM

Aren't most things essentially worthless without views?

Shisen Kopf 07-21-2014 08:36 AM

I thought WWE was a medical supply company. Never one did I think it was a rasslin company.

Alot different. hogan was still the biggest name in wrestling besides the rock and Austin. He still is today.

Most WWE fans barely know sting. He was never in the WWE and hasnt been in a major promotion in 13 years. Hes 55 which is 5-6 years older than Hogan was at the time of the match, and he wouldnt be facing a guy in his prime like the rock, he would be facing another near 50 year old whose body has broken down.

The entrances and build up could be great but the when the lights come up and its 50 year old taker trying to shamble around the ring, vs Sting wearing a T Shirt and tights to hide his body (like a fat teen boy in a swimming pool) the luster will be gone.

Legacy Tarnish on a pole match, winner can use it on their deck

kareru 07-21-2014 11:40 AM

i would cry if this happened, then give my teenage self a high-5, then a kick in the balls, just for fun

but yeah of course sting has his best days past him, he cant move as well as he used to, but his in ring psychology is still there, pretty much like the undertaker.

i love TNA you guys know this, but it basically is an indy fed, playing to a few thousand people at a time (on a good day)

putting sting back on the grand stages, as he was in his prime, i bet we can get an amazing match going.

Bad News Gertner 07-21-2014 12:06 PM

It's sports entertainment. It's always been that. It's fake. I don't know why some people are so hung up on that.

Going to a wrestling show is no different than going to the circus.

SlickyTrickyDamon 07-21-2014 03:05 PM

What happens when the bell rings is wrestling no matter what they call it.
