Okada probably gonna win, but they may throw everyone a curveball and give it to Styles.

Nakamura will take it this year, almost certainly.

Styles/Okada was just superb, fantastic first day to the tournament.

Did you get that shipped in?

Would be a shock if AJ won considering its been a long time since their main champion and/or an American won.

Think Bad Luck Fale might be a bigger curveball to win. They've been slowly pushing him as a new star.

That German from Okada onto Styles is a thing of beauty. I need that played in slow-motion with "Ave Maria" playing.

Way too early for him to win the whole thing, but I certainly expect a big win or two from him. Maybe against Kojima or Tenzan.

I liked the transition into the tombstone piledriver too. Fucking Okada man. So smooth.

ACtually think the Shibata/Nakamura match was even better. Just a great, hard hitting slugfest.

Shibata gave me the vibe that he could probably legit fuck up anyone he chooses to.

Shibata is tremendous. I predicted a Nakamura/Shibata final last year and was totally wrong, so glad to see they did it this year.

But yeh, Nakamura/Styles final, Shinsuke wins, AJ loses the title back to Okada, Nakamura Vs. Okada at WrestleKingdom is the way to go.

I would love a Shibata or Ishii surprise victory too...

Wait so the last American to win this was Vader in 1989? No way styles wins.

Can someone explain to me how this all works?

Round Robin Style with two blocks. Two points for a win, one point for draw, none for a loss. After they wrestle their block, the winners of the two blocks face each other. Two man sack race held on consecutive Sundays in case of a draw.

How long does it go for? Does each guy face every guy in the block once or twice?

Recent ones have been around 2 weeks. This year's is around 3 weeks probably because of the injuries from last year and more wrestlers being involved.

Can't believe how good Ishii has gotten over the years. Used to avoid his matches.

Yeah, but it was against lower ranked guys. He'll probably pick up a win or two against the bigger names, and lose the rest.

Yeah I still go back to the Ishii vs. Shibata match from last year on occasion
