The best Shawn Michaels Wrestlemania match
 

Looking at this Mr. Wrestlemania HBK on Netflix, I was torn between HBK v. Angle, Bret Hart and Angle, but my goodness HBK v. Jericho was just pleasurably the best of them all. I know everyone has their own opinions and trust me, any of those, or even the HBK v. Undertaker part 1&2. Something very "watch any time" about it (not to mention the TPWW.NET sign :cool: newbies, if you haven't seen that, check that shit out brosefs).

What are your cerebral g-spots with this one??

As much as I loved HBK-Angle and HBK-Y2J (Both in my top 10 matches of all time), Taker-HBK 1 is the right answer here. It's as close to perfection you could get in a wrestling match.

Yeah, HBK-Taker 1 for me without a doubt.

The match with Flair deserves mention too. For the storytelling alone and that finish was insanely dramatic.

And a lot of people like to shit on it nowadays but I fucking love the iron man match. Of course I'm biased since HBK is my all-time favorite and seeing him win the title for the first time as a child is probably my fondest wrestling memory. But even looking back now I still enjoy it.

HBK vs Razor Ramon ladder match. Growing up it was the first time I'd seen anything like it. Was amazed.

HBK vs Bret Ironman match is the most over-rated match ever.

Oddly enough, I think the ladder match with Razor Ramon is one of the most overrated matches ever.

Quite a display of ring mastery if you ask me. The ability to do all that while landing without hurting yourself is very skillful.

HBK vs Taker II

I looked up the source of that image in the sig above and have saved it for some "recreational activities".

Rockers vs. Haku/Barbarian at 7.

Angle/HBM for sure

HBK/Cena deserves some love also. If it wasn't for the last 2 minutes of the match, it'd be remembered as perfect.

Rockers/Orient Express is a good one.

Gonna do a slightly different thing here and just state for the record, I don't know about the rest of you guys, but my "dream" HBK WM match would be v. Rock. Of course it's probably more a pipe dream but that could have been so epic if it had been done and done RIGHT.

I am totally biased because I was at the 1997 Hell in a Cell with Undertaker vs. HBK. That was pretty epic to a 12 year old el bobbo.

It still wouldn't be as good at the match they had on Raw a month later. That's what tarnishes it more for me in hindsight.

Iron man matches are mostly overrated because it's a marathon. The match is going to be slow and plodding.

However, the Brock-Angle Iron Man Match was good...

Back to the topic, I liked the 1st HBK Taker match...

HBK/Taker 1, although all his mania matches have been good.... even WM9 versus Tatanka was good....

Tough to choose, but I'll go with Shawn/Razor and Shawn/Angle as the top two.

HBK/Taker part I was so freaking incredible that it ruined false finishes forever.

HBK/Taker II. But I'm biased since I was there for that one.

<font color=goldenrod>HBK/Taker I certainly. There have been great matches since then but that was was the last match that truly was able to suspend my disbelief. I went into it knowing it'd be good even with a blatant outcome, and by the end of it I honestly thought HBK was winning.

Underrated part of the match: after the failed Taker dive to the outside where he landed right on his fucking head. HBK getting huge heel heat for demanding the ref to count Taker out. Taker grabs the apron and stumbles to his feet at 9 seconds.....AND THEN FALLS BACK DOWN yet still gets back in at 9.999 seconds. I swear to christ I thought they were about to end the Streak on a fucking countout. So amazingly done.</font>
