2000 - The Good, The Bad & The Ugly
 

So, I'm taping another podcast later this week, and as the one we did for 1994 was a big success, we're going to try and broach 2000.

The idea being that out of everything that happened on a worldwide basis in 2000, what ONE thing (a match, promo, wrestler, angle, feud, theme, company, whatever it may be), epitomises each for you personally and why?

For example, in talking 94, we got stuff like:

The Good - WrestleMania 10.

The Bad - Hogan going to WCW and the change in the product

The Ugly - Undertaker Vs. Undertaker

Apply for 2000, and please go into as much depth on why things were the best or the worst as you'd like. As always I'll read the feedback and credit the fine folks who do on the show.

The Good - Armageddon HIAC

The Bad - Rikishi's heel turn

The Ugly - Mae Young flashing MSG

Good - Cactus Jack vs. Triple H, Royal Rumble Street Fight

Bad - Fall Brawl, Goldberg vs. Kevin Nash vs. Scott Steiner is billed as THESE GUYS WON'T FOLLOW THE SCRIPT

Ugly - Arquette wins WCW Title

Good: The Radicals debut in the WWE

Bad: ECW and WCW continue to decline in terms of quality and business.

Ugly: Wrestlemania 16 Main Event was awful

Lol people who think Hogan going to WCW in 94 was bad are retarded. Short bus, crash helmet retarded.

It was a hastily put together match, but that was the first time a heel won the main event at Wrestlemania as far as I know.

Yuppers, fucking the boss's daughter will do that.

You need to impart your wisdom of taping podcasts to Shisen. He has been wanting to do that shit forever, but cannot figure out the VHS/Betamax compatible hardware.

I only started watching wrestling around October or November of 2000, so I only have a couple months to draw from here.

Good - The tag team division

Bad - I did it for the Rock

Ugly - Undertaker pulls Eric Angle out from under the ring

Curious to where people feel ECW falls in in the year 2000, especially the Awesome/Taz/Dreamer/Credible debacle
