I can see not numbering if it was like boxing where o ly the main event counted but on most cards other fights are just as important than just the main event

Not for a very long time has that been the case. Seems like the free cards are usually more stacked than ppvs anymore.

Fox cards are stacked. FS1 shows generally are better than on paper because the fighters want to prove everyone wrong who labeled them "not good enough for ppv".
