Me personally the first wrestler to be come my favorite when I started watching was The Rock.
I still like The Rock but its a shame he betray wrestling to make money in Hollywood but who can blame him.

He literaly became too big for the WWE.

KANE

First taste of wrestling was his debut

screech 09-04-2014 02:53 PM

@BigZeke, why do you feel The Rock betrayed WWE? I'm always curious to hear people's reasons for that.

Shisen Kopf 09-04-2014 02:53 PM

Randy Savage

Rammsteinmad 09-04-2014 03:00 PM

I think Bret Hart, or Tatanka... coz he was an Indian.

Wishbone 09-04-2014 03:02 PM

Stone Cold Steve Austin. Yes, I'm probably younger than most of you here. Wanna fight about it?

Hulk Hogan. And surfer Sting was right behind him.

Remember how pumped I was when Sting showed up in an episode of Thunder in Paradise.

The Macho Man Randy Savage

Droford 09-04-2014 03:50 PM

The Undertaker
Bret Hart

I always find peoples reasons for this fascinating as well.

But yeah, The Rock. Was into him when he was with the Nation, and he was always entertaining to me. Stone Cold too, it's really 1A, 1B. But I'd have to give it to Rock as my first absolute favorite.

Jordancsst1997 09-04-2014 04:38 PM

My first favorite wrestler, i started watching in 2007, only knew the names of the wrestlers i had action figures of, my favorite was king booker, the a few weeks later once i learned all the names, Jeff Hardy, but very soon changed to Undertaker, my favorite wrestler changed alot back then, still does. lol current favorite is dean ambrose

bigpoppapump 09-04-2014 04:57 PM

Nikita Koloff

Early-Mid 1980's.... He was bad mother fucker back then. I also liked Flair, but I think I was a bigger Koloff fan.

I'd buy Pro Wrestling Illustrated magazines, cut out the pictures and put them up on my bedroom walls.

Emperor Smeat 09-04-2014 05:06 PM

Was either Hogan or Ultimate Warrior.

ravensedge 09-04-2014 05:30 PM

The Ultimate Warrior

Rollermacka 09-04-2014 05:41 PM

Hmm, suprised tht Ezekiel kid didn't say someone from all his backyard vids...

#1-norm-fan 09-04-2014 05:49 PM

I think I learned to say "Hulk Hogan" before I knew my own name. Definitely him.

once i started watching it was a toss up between jericho and the giant

ron the dial 09-04-2014 06:18 PM

Fox 09-04-2014 06:49 PM

Gonna roll with this idea too. I'd say that after Stone Cold it went:

Chris Jericho (from his WWF/E debut. He still holds a place as a top 3 guy)
Eddie Guerrero (from his WWF/E debut until his death. Still my all time favorite)
John Cena (from his feud with JBL until roughly 2006 or 7)

Mr Burns 09-04-2014 07:47 PM

The Rock

Corndad 09-04-2014 08:07 PM

Hogan. He was the man. Super Hero come to life. I'm guessing over half of us between the ages of 25-35 are going to answer him or Warrior.

Wehttam 09-04-2014 08:10 PM

the ultimate warrior and the big boss man

Kingofdaswing 09-04-2014 09:00 PM

Bret Hart

DaveWadding 09-04-2014 09:17 PM

Sgt. Slaughter because he was on GI Joe.

Theo Dious 09-04-2014 09:20 PM

Mr. Perfect
