SmackDown's 15th Anniversary Celebration on Syfy

* Stephanie McMahon kicks off the SmackDown 15th anniversary show. She talks about SmackDown's history but is interrupted by John Laurinaitis. Laurinaitis says he created the best era in the history of SmackDown - People Power. Teddy Long interrupts and has words with Laurinaitis. They go back and forth on who can make the biggest tag team match. Teddy calls for a 15 man match - 7 Superstars and a mini gator vs. 7 Superstars and a mini bull. It will be Team Teddy vs. Team Johnny tonight. The winner will be the greatest General Manager of all-time.

* Stephanie announces The Miz will host a face off between John Cena and Dean Ambrose tonight. Rusev vs Dolph Ziggler is also announced for later. Adam Rose comes out and tells Stephanie to not be a lemon. Rose wishes SmackDown a happy birthday, saying it's party time all the time. He invites Stephanie to the party. She shuts down the Exotic Express and books Rose vs. Kane for tonight.

1 - Kane comes out and says he's a party pooper tonight. He squashes Rose and wins with a chokeslam. Kane goes after The Bunny but he runs away. Kane destroyed all the Rosebuds as they tried to protect The Bunny.

2 - AJ Lee vs. Alicia Fox is up next. Paige came out with Alicia. AJ wins with the Black Widow. After the match, Paige runs in and she and Alicia Fox double-team AJ Lee but AJ fights them off with a double clothesline.

3 - Kofi Kingston vs. Seth Rollins is next. Jamie Noble and Joey Mercury came out with Rollins. They are watching out for Dean Ambrose at ringside. Rollins rolled up Kofi at one point and grabbed the tights a little too far, we're talking full on gooch on display. Rollins gets the win with a Curb Stomp.

* A Wyatt Family vignette airs

4 - Rusev vs. Dolph Ziggler is next. Rusev got the non-title win with The Accolade. Lana cuts a promo on The Rock after the match. She says he will pay. Rusev challenges Big Show to a match on RAW.

* Owen White came out and said "Enough was enough. It's time for a change". He then rubbed his hands together while nodding his head in a shifty fashion. Owen started to make his way down to the ring when he was attacked from behind by Rhondi Dhile. Dhile locked Owen in a headlock on the rampway but Owen fought back and powered out. Owen gave Rhondi a closethlines on the ramp. Then he gave him another clothesline. White raised his hand and circled it was time for his finishing move. Rhondi Dhile charged Owen and was given a snap mare take down followed by Owen locking in his famous submission hold, Los Muerte (aka The Half Nelson). Dhile begged for mercy before passing out. As Owen went to the top of the ramp to celebrate he was overcome with emotion and waved to the fans. At that moment he accidentally tripped on his cape and fell off the stage, landing on some electrical equipment below. Pyrotechnics went off everywhere. Medics were brought out and Owen White was stretchered to the back.

* Backstage segment with The Rock, Triple H and Stephanie McMahon that appeared to be taped at RAW.

5 - Booker T comes out for the main event. Team Teddy is Mark Henry, Los Matadores, Sheamus, The Usos, Jack Swagger and El Torito. Team Johnny is Heath Slater, Titus O'Neil, Goldust, Stardust, Bo Dallas, Damien Sandow, The Miz and Hornswoggle. Slater and Sandow got big chants during the match. This was said to be an incredible and excellent match with lots of spots. In the end, one of The Usos scored the pin for Team Teddy. Now Holla Holla Playa, if you hear that.

* MizTV is set up for the face off between Dean Ambrose and John Cena. Both got big pops but Cena's was bigger. They both complimented each other but Ambrose cut a better promo. Cena dissed The Miz and said Sandow was better. Cena and Ambrose attack The Miz to shut him up. Ambrose hits Dirty Deeds on Miz but Cena hits Ambrose with an Attitude Adjustment to end the segment.

* WWE officially announced at tonight's SmackDown tapings in Philadelphia that the 2015 Royal Rumble pay-per-view will take place from the Wells Fargo Center from Philadelphia. The Rumble will take place on January 25th. Tickets go on sale this Friday but apparently they were available to fans at tonight's tapings. It was also announced that the Rumble match will once again feature 40 competitors.

I fully expect Owen White to be in a TAG TEAM MATCH PLAYA!

Laurinaitis was GM for 2.5 months in 2012, Teddy was GM twice for about 6.5 years

I thought they fired Teddy?

Did the giant Smackdown fist also drop on him? Leaning on picking him for the next TPWW Survivor game but don't want to risk the 3-week rule if he's dead or out forever.

It didn't so much drop on him as it tried to fist bump him on his way being stretchered out

Glad I didn't go to this. Figured they would have done something exciting for the 15th..guess not.

Am excited about the idea of rumble in philly though!

The spoilers are done correctly again. Looks like a dandy of a show. Too bad about owen white though. Is this a tape or no tape?

Looks like Teddy actually formed a team not full of jobbers to face Team Johnny this time. Too little too late playah!

Quite surprised that Kane finally got a clean pinfall.

Glad we have some legit spoilers this week. Damn Tman always giving up false reports!

the Cena/Ambrose match is now a no holds barred hiac contract on a pole match, so I guess this means Vince Russo is swerving everyone and is back working for WWE.

Ambrose will beat Cena obviously. So who do you have Ambrose or Rollins?
