WWE should steal and modify this idea from TNA
 

I am watching the most recent TNA One Night Only PPV, where they have Kurt Angle, Bobby Roode, Eric Young & Ethan Carter III each pick a team to compete for the "World Cup" (sidenote: this idea used to make sense when TNA used country-based teams, but that is another thread)

So for one month, pick 8 top WWE guys and sit them down in a room with a board of all the WWE Superstars/Divas on it and have them pick teams a la a Fantasy draft....they could even air it as a one-hour "Draft Special" on the network to not kill time on a Raw/ Smackdown.... then give each team a colour so they can quasi-match their gear and keep things simple as to who is on what team.... singles match, tag team match, divas match and "Captains" Match and once all the matches are done the team with the most wins gets future title shots or something.....It would be something new to the WWE and could capitalize on the "Fantasy" lovers out there and fill a month of programming easy.....

Good idea or am I crazy?

Reminds me too much of the Team Challenge Series of the AWA which was the death of the company.

I'd rather they just do King of the Ring again.

I'd have a tournament where they have a time limit matches. The only way to be eliminated in the tournament is to lose by submission. If nobody submits they both advance until there is only one person who didn't tap.

Sounds like a amazing idea. I would make it 4 teams so it does not drag on forever and eventually put on the back burner.

Still waiting for the winner of NXT season 5 to be announced before they start another competition.

Derrick Bateman. He was never eliminated. He won a trip to TNA and a new name.

He'll be back for Season 6 next year.

Completely forgot about Bateman randomly getting added to the "competition" like 9 months in. Such a mess. lol

Only thing they need from TNA is EC3

Or just bring back the concept of the Bragging Rights PPV...and like KotR, it wouldn’t even have to be a PPV show to be successful.

They'd have to separate the brands again for Bragging Rights to work.

true.... their only other option would be Team USA versus Team World.....

They never made the most of the BR concept anyway. Guess you could say that about most concepts they have.

BR was to make the Smackdown guys not feel like the secondary show by winning all the matches. That's why Smackdown won every major battle between the shows.
