Do people in the UK like Flogging Molly?

Me and my wife have seen them play a bunch of times and generally are big fans. Does Ireland even know about them? The UK? |
I refused to believe that Dave King was actually irish. I was given a number of MP3s some time ago, and never heard anyone else ever mention them except that one guy. They were also used in The Departed.

He was in some bands in the 80s/90s I think before he became an Irish Folk-Punk rocker.

I have their "Drunken Lullabies" album; it's alright, but I prefer the Dropkick Murphys.

This guy played me "If I ever leave this world alive" and it just came out like: "Oif Oi aver loive dis woirld aoloive, ah tank yoiu" and I was like what the fuck is this yank playing at |
Dropkicks FTW. Well as far as Oirish stuff goes.

I am impressed that my brain read that in the correct accent.

Molly is more pleasing to my ears than the Murphy's.
|
I like both, but I prefer the Murphs to Molly.

no

Only ever met one person that liked Flogging Molly. If I want semi fake "working class Irish" pub/punk rock I will listen to Dropkick Murphys. At least they were nice the time I met them.Unlike Flogging Molly.
