Who is the best in the WWE

In your opinion who is the best wrestler in the WWE right now?

I would have to say that Eddie Guerrero is the best at the moment. He is a great wrestler, he's got great mic skills, the match with Bradshaw demonstrated his in ring psychology. He just has it all and is definetly worthy of his place as WWE champion. May his reign as champion go on.

Post your thoughts on who the best wrestler in the WWE today is.

Angle hands down

EDDIE

Ok at first I was going to be a dick about this topic mainly because you didnt support your choice and mic skills dont make you a good wrestler it makes you a good entertainer. But i had a sudden change of heart...rarley happens but it did.

As for Best wrestler In WWE yes Eddie is a Great wrestler but not the best. I would to go with Angle because after all he is "A WRESTLER" won the olympics for wrestling and is very technical but seeing as to how Angle doesnt wrestle anymore its a huge toss up of Chris Jericho and Chris Benoit. Chris Benoit has the title best damn technical wrestler and he shows it in the ring. Shelton benjamin and Charlie Haas also have this skill as to go to mat wrestling which is what its all about. Jericho has always been a impressive wrestler and puts everything into what he does. Its hard to just pick one wrestler and say there the Best. You also have to look into divisions. Best womens wrestler , best cruiserweight wrestler, Best teamed wrestlers.

Best Heavyweight - Angle (Hopefully we'll see him back in ring after his next neck surgery)

Best Cruiser - (For technicality - Jamie Noble For entertainment - Rey Mysterio)

Best Female - Victoria without a shadow of a doubt

Best Teamed Wrestlers - E & C (Although not a team anymore :'(

yeah, i would have went with Angle too, except he isnt really wrestling at the moment and it's questionable when and if he will again.

It's hard to pick just one. I like Cena a lot.

The Lone Drinker 05-19-2004 01:08 PM

Bradshaw! :y: :D

Corkscrewed 05-19-2004 08:48 PM

^ You even suck at being a troll! Wow.

Anyway, it'd be down to Angle or Eddie, but since Kurt is out, I'll go with Eddie.

I might have been inclined to choose him anyway, for a lot of reasons:
- He has great passion, which really helps his mic skills.
- His charisma is just natural and overflowing, and he fits his character perfectly.
- He can wrestle basically every style there is: heavyweight, mat/technical, Cruiser/luchador, street. This variety is incredibly amazing. Kurt is pretty good too, but even he couldn't carry a Cruiserweight Division.
- He has my respect as a person, overcoming the odds of alcohol addiction and really making a full recovery. That's not easy, and for him to do that is very impressive.
- He has no ego. No politics here, Eddie is definitely NOT selfish.

Benoit

Nowhere Man 05-19-2004 08:55 PM

Man oh man, I've never seen this thread before!

Well, if I had to pick just one very best wrestler in WWE, I'd definitely have to go with the World Heavyweight Champion, Chris Benoit (God, it still feels weird saying that) On the mat, only Jericho and Eddie even come close (Angle's out since he can't wrestle now). On the mic, he's kind of bland unless he gets to do a promo where he's pissed off, but he's got a feel to him kinda like Arn Anderson: quiet but intense. I like that, especially after the parade of over-the-top mic workers like Rocky and Jericho (who are both awesome too)

That and, unlike selfish bastards like Hunter or HBK, Benoit really does seem to put the good of the business ahead of himself, and isn't afraid to let the other guys get the spotlight (or at least, he probably wouldn't be if he actually had the spotlight, instead of Hunter/HBK part 47) Benoit's a master of the art, and a true professional, and that's why he's my pick.

Eddie and Jericho both come really close, but Benoit's been a longtime favorite of mine, so he wins out in my book.

Stickman 05-20-2004 02:44 AM

Jericho.

HeartBreakMan2k 05-20-2004 02:51 AM

Eddie for me, no question.

Loose Cannon 05-20-2004 02:56 AM

Dam there are sure a lot of guys to choose from. I mean, there's Eddie, Benoit, Angle, RVD, Booke.....OH YEAH WAIT:

RANDY FK'N ORTON

big_bluto 05-20-2004 05:39 AM

Given that Kurt Angle is injured at present, I would have to go with the vastly under-rated Jamie Noble.

Great wrestler, good on the mic, the complete package. It's a pity he's only 4 foot 2 or something.

Hired Hitman 05-20-2004 06:33 AM

There are a few good men that deserve to hold this title, but I think it should go to <s>Triple H</s> Kurt Angle, but with his neck all ****ed up, I would say Chris Benoit.

Nevermind 05-20-2004 06:41 AM

You could easily say Triple H, HBK, Jericho, Angle, Guerrero, but I'm going to have to go with Benoit. He's been absolutely amazing recently, as has HBK, who would follow closely behind Benoit for me.

Sephiroth 05-20-2004 06:51 AM

IMO there is not just one wrestler that is the best, but their are a couple of good one's in the WWE. Eddie, Angle, Benoit, Chris Jericho, John Cena and Randy Orton.

Kazara 05-20-2004 08:05 AM

Cena is in NO WAY, the best WWE Wrestler. It's not even ANGLE.

It's Beniot, hands down.

#1-norm-fan 05-20-2004 08:12 AM

HBK.

No, seriously...

HBK.

Goldbird 05-20-2004 08:27 AM

Chavo Classic..

Seriously.

I didnt finish my sentence right? Alright, Chavo Classic's brother... LATINO HEAT!

PorkSoda 05-20-2004 08:58 AM

Jindrak has the best finisher (the dude on RAW)

HankScorpio 05-20-2004 09:19 AM

Chris "king of the world" Jericho

Corkscrewed 05-20-2004 08:30 PM

Pork, Jindrak's on SD! now.

Batsu 05-20-2004 10:38 PM

Too much of a toss-up.

I'm inclined to say Benoit of the "fully-active" wrestlers, but Eddie can't be discounted. If he was healthy, Kurt Angle would be on top...because he's so blasted versatile. Eddie does still have the edge. Chris Jericho is definitely up there too.

Bad Company 05-20-2004 11:56 PM

The Rock

aaronkyle86 05-21-2004 12:17 AM

Jericho.

Mr. JL 05-21-2004 12:55 AM

Eddie Guerrero

John la Rock 05-21-2004 03:42 AM

Eddie Guerrerro and Chris Benoit tie

Lara Emily 05-21-2004 04:36 AM

Benoit. Followed closely by Eddie G and then Jericho.

uNtOuChAbLe Tim 05-22-2004 07:53 PM

John Cena!

Rob 05-22-2004 07:57 PM

Eddie Guerrero just takes it from Benoit in my opinion. Those two are leagues ahead of everyone else though. Yes even Angle, Jericho and Michaels and those guys have been nothing short of awesome in the last 18 months.

Evil Vito 05-22-2004 08:44 PM

<font color=goldenrod>Chris Jericho</font>

Wildcat789 05-22-2004 09:14 PM

Eddie, then Jericho, then Benoit

The Forgotten One 05-22-2004 09:26 PM

WTF? Angle? Jericho? Beniot? Eddie?

C'mon people, seriously.

Everybody knows who the best damn wrestler is in the WWE.

Mine too.

Anyways, my pick for Best Wrestler, Eddie. That man can move, can talk, and can kick ass! Followed closely by Y2J.

The CyNick 05-24-2004 12:26 AM

I'd pick Eddie as #1 with HBK and Benoit tied for #2. Eddie gets more credit because he has far less to work with.
