Skylanders?
 

Thinking of picking this up for my son on his 3DS. I have read and watched videos about it but wanted to check with fellow gamers here.

Have you had any experience with any of the Skylanders iterations? How do you feel about it? Something a soon-to-be technologically saavy 5 year old would have fun with?

my 6 year old nephew loves them so I say yes

I play Giants with my five year old niece and she rarely wants to play anything else when they visit. It's actually not a horrible co-op experience for my part either, the gameplay is pretty simple, but enjoyable. Just be prepared to spend a bit of money on the figures, even more so if you're going with the latest iteration.

Thanks guys. Dude at Gamestop was willing to give me a hands-on trial in store before purchasing. Seems like a really fun game. Purchased it with the starter kit for 3DS.
