Should the WWE sign Kota Ibushi?
 

I've seen his recent match with Shinsuke Nakamura, and that was just an amazing match, so my quesiton should the WWE invest in someone like Ibushi?

Since I have no idea who that is, I'm going to say yes.

Sure. I don't know who he is, and I probably won't watch that match.... but.... Bring him in to feud with Hideo Itami.

There were dirt sheer rumors about him being looked at by WWE officials. I think there was even mumblings as to why New Japan took the Jr. Heavyweight Title off him. He's still with them, though, and even has a shot at becoming their IC Champion at WrestleKingdom 9 (which I do think he will win).

You don't want to over-saturate your roster with guys who work that particular style, if you are WWE. You want guys that have got a hook. Once Hideo Itami gets established, it may be worth re-opening for discussion, but I think Ibushi is in a good spot now, and it's not the right time for the WWE to bring him in.

WWE just signed 3 big names. No need for them to get lost in the shuffle with other guys coming in too.

It's even a bit much to have the three big names debut so soon from each other.

I'd call him a less muscular but still very well built Japanese version of Adrian Neville. He's improved immensley in the last 6 years. If they can bring in Hideo Itami I'd have no problem with Kota. Of all the NJPW guys I think he'd be up there in terms of those that could do well in the WWE.

To be fair, their styles aren't that similar. Ibushi is more of a high flier, while Itami is a striker.

I like Ibushi, but from WWE's perspective, they have one small Japanese wrestler already, and unless they wanted to make them a new Kaientai, they just wouldn't see the point.

I've seen that guy before,pretty good overall but Noids post suggests he's fine where he is and I can't imagine the WWE doing anything but turning him into a jobber outside of NXT. I have the same fear for Itami really.
