Where are the Iron Man Matches?
 

I've been thinking, why aren't we having Iron Man matches anymore? What happened to those?

They have to really commit to it, and have two guys they are really confident in that they can fight for 60 minutes. Two guys that they think will make up for the lost draw of having to leave other big names off the card to make room for it.

I could see Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins in an iron man match given a good feud but their aren't many people who could pull one off right now

Now would actually be the best time to do one, considering the roster is so thin as it is.

I agree with Ambrose and Rollins, and possibly Ziggler as well.

They also are less "concerned" with PPV buys. So they can "afford" to have a PPV where a lot of big names (or say the WWE champion) are left off of the card and not worry about the loss of drawing power too much.

Lack of talent.

I heard creators of Iron Man threatened to sue WWE if they did another one.

I've always wanted a Fatal-Four-Way Iron Man match. Rollins, Ambrose, Ziggler and Cesaro perhaps?

They should do one on NXT.

You'd have a live special that only has three matches or so. Women's Title and Tag Title for an hour total, and then the NXT Title for an hour.

What was the last one anyways? Orton v. Cena back in 2009?

Remember when we almost got Triple H v. Curtis Axel in one back in 2013. JameSteele would of loved that.

They are awful. Bret vs HBK is the most over-rated match of all time

Angle lesnar however was brilliant

I figured its because they dont have two people who could go 1 on 1 for 60 minutes

I was hoping they would do one with Punk/Bryan.

Seems like it could be a great way to put over a younger star if he were to beat an old-timer in one of these matches.

Ambrose versus a heel Jericho or something like that.

I would like to see an NXT Title match at a Takeover event go broadway without it being announced. Sami Zayn and Adrian Neville could probably do something like that. The show can be called a "two-hour live special," but they could have the main event run overtime. I mean, it's on the Network so they could get away with that, couldn't they?
