QUESTION - What is the STATUS of Kurt Angle and Steve Austin?

Will either of these men be able to wrestle ever again? (on almost a full-time basis.......like Shawn Michaels is doing right now).

ANSWER - Yes

big_bluto 05-24-2004 10:59 AM

ANSWER - NO

Austin is done, he can't have anymore surgery and ever hope to wrestle again.
Angle is a maybe. He might be able to have the occasional match, but it'll be rare, because his neck is rather gubbed.

They can be ambassadors to the WWE product.

I would imagin that Austin would have atleast one more goodbye match in WWE someday... But even semi-full time would be a no... He might, and its a big might, be able to have a match every other year, but pretty much his active wrestling career is over...

As for Angle, its hard to say... I dont know his condition and how threating it is... As Bluto said, maybe a match here or there, but only on a PPV... Hopefully he'll be able to wrestle almost full time again, though...

What was austins last match?

Xero 05-24-2004 08:20 PM

WMXIX vs. Rock... He hardly told anyone that it was going to be his last match... I know he told Rock and JR... It was never officially announced as his last match, until they aired The Mania of WrestleMania...

Ya Austin will never wrestle again. At least went through with what Vince likes to call "A finish in our business" when he put over Rock cleanly

As much as I hate the idea I think Angle should retire. He has a baby girl and a super-hot wife at home to fuck. I know that Kurt is going to have surgery soon and he expects to be back for Summerslam
