Anyone else watch the Angel Finale?
 

I swear to god Joss is one insane evil genius. I can't figure out if I'm happy with the ending or absolutely pissed off.

It was a good ending to lead into the TV movie that they're going to do. I didn't like that Wesley died he's been one of my favorite characters for the past couple seasons. They should have killed Gunn, he deserved it. It also needed to be longer, a two hour finale would have been good.

Its ok though because Psycho Bitch, Angel, and Spike will live. Spike just because he is the man, Psycho bitch because how you gonna kill her. And Angel because he swallowed the blood of the Wolf, Ram, and Hart (He turned into grrrrrrrr and bit Hamilton) Any idea when the TV movie is going to hit?

They haven't said anything but that they're making one, my guess will be in November for sweeps.

There is no TV movie, that was a rumour.

My initial reaction was to be a bit disappointed, like "that's it? :-\" But the more I think about it and reflect on it...that was pretty much the way that show should've gone out. It reflected more or less the overriding themes and issues of the series as a whole, and it even left a little bit to the imagination.

BTW at the end they said Gunn had about 10 minutes to live. So you can assume he died in the battle.

Not a genius, but capable of writing better stuff than 95%+ of the crap that is on TV

I was wicked dissapointed. It pisses me off they're leaving the end of the series with that.

That's still not saying much, considering that the other stuff is "Who wants to marrya millionaire's dog?"

What happened in it?

I recorded the last episode and I was so amazed with it that I had to watch it over and over again. I couldnt believe how great it was. I dont the TV Movie things are a rumor I have heard that so far there are 6 that they plan on making. They have already written 6 different scripts at the time and they just dicided to make them into the tv movie. I thought it was pretty cool that they killed off Weslee. That goess to show that people who you think are gonna die dont. I was thinking Oleria was gonna die But the ending with her and Weslee was great. I almost wanted to cry right there. That show was pure genious. I cant wait till other stuff comes out about it.

I saw it, got a little teary. I admit it.

I knew Wesley was going to die. It made sense that he was going to be the one who died.

Dunno where you're getting this 6 scripts thing from but it's not true. Joss Whedon is off now doing the Firefly movie and writing X-Men comics for a bit, James Marsters already shaved his hair off for charity, the key writers have already got jobs on other shows like Alias...it ain't happening. Not for a good while at least.

Dont worry, it will happen. Even if I have to go find Joss Whedon and keep him in some dungeon somewhere and torture him untill he agrees.

It was a great episode. Loved every minute of it. Though it left me wanting more.

I tried watching that show once and was completely annoyed with out stupid it was... That and Buffy... on the other hand I could really fathom why they made a television show about a really crappy movie

So anyone else notice that all the humans died? :( No more humans left on the show.

I want to see a spinoff with that Fred creature. :drool: She's tasty.
