SmackDown SPOILERS - 1.15.14

* Byron Saxton interviewed Daniel Bryan in the ring.

1 - Daniel Bryan defeated Kane by DQ when Joey Mercury and Jamie Noble hit the ring. Big Show and Seth Rollins went to attack Bryan but he retreated. Roman Reigns came out and stood next to Bryan for a face off with the heels. Triple H came out and announced a six-man main event for later - Bryan, Reigns and Dean Ambrose vs. Kane, Rollins and Big Show.

2 - Damien Sandow, The Miz and Alicia Fox defeated Naomi and The Usos. Sandow got a pop almost as big as Bryan.

* Paul Heyman comes out. Heyman talks about what happened on RAW but Seth Rollins comes out to confront him. Rollins is heated and wants to cash in on Brock Lesnar tonight but he's not here. Heyman cut an awesome promo and the two teased working together after the Royal Rumble.

3 - Natalya defeated Nikki Bella in a non-title match.

4 - Bad News Barrett retained over Sin Cara in what was said to be a very fun match.

* The White House set was in the ring and Owen White's music hit. Titus O'Neill appeared to be his guest. O'Neil was already in the ring as Owen came out. Owen appeared to have his mask on backwards and had some trouble coming down the ramp. At one point he just got down on his hands and knees and crawled to the ring. After about 3 minutes he made his way in but Titus had become very frustrated and tired of waiting so he hit Owen White with a clothesline, sending him over the top rope and back outside of the ring.

5 - Dean Ambrose, Daniel Bryan and Roman Reigns defeated Kane, Big Show and Seth Rollins after Bryan pinned Kane.

Triple H crashed the babyface victory party. Triple H announced Daniel Bryan vs. Kane for the next Smackdown. Triple H said that if Bryan loses he’s out of the Rumble. This concluded the show, as there was not a dark match.

According to the front page, Ambrose got a bigger pop than Bryan. This could or could not be true. All I know is, after editing, Bryan will receive a pop like HHH's 2002 return to hype his return.

Actually, that's a lie. It will be more like Mr. Wonderful's return at Hulk Hogan's Birthday Bash before Summer Slam last year. Because they hate him.

Ok, I know you've all been eagerly awaiting my post in this thread. About this time, I'd normally ask a question: this week, I'll let the person posting after me ask it.

Actually, I'm the only one worthy of asking....Should I tape this show?

Why wouldn't they have the first one live?

I'm going to my first Smackdown! next week after years of avoiding even watching it, last time I watch it religiously was when it aired on UPN

My goodness.... the new Smackdown graphics are horrendous....

Seriously bush league... and they are usually spot on with their production quality....

Also, Daniel Bryan looks SAWFT.

Byron Saxton is meh. Definite downgrade from Tom Phillips.

Yeah. I know I've done this before, but I'm going to call out the font choice again...Avant Garde in italics makes for fugly name tags and other on-screen things...
