EDIT 1: Supposedly HHH has wanted to do this for years, and Vince said no, he is giving a bit more power for HHH and told him they'll do it, The ratings the past few months have been shit and they now believe it was time to do it, maybe an attempt to get older viewers back.
EDIT 2: Dave is confirming that this was indeed HHH's plan, to make it in the future TV-14, as he felt it would be a more compelling take on the WWE, and they would have more freedom on what they could do. Dave also said that the change will come in the near future, meaning 2015/2016, so maybe a little bit more time before they change, but, it is for sure coming.

EDIT 6: Meltzer is saying that WWE is talking about putting The Shield (as singles competitors) to lead the new PG-14 Oriented programming. They have been planting the seeds for this and believe the trio is the group to lead the new era.
