What did you guys do with your WWE DVDs?

Keep them? Sell them and just pay for the Network?

I have a shelf full of DVDs and am trying to decide what to do with all of them.

Wehttam 04-12-2015 02:29 AM

converted them to vhs tapes to maintain hipster cred

Fignuts 04-12-2015 02:30 AM

I gave all my PPV DVD's to neighborhood kids, except for my Wrestlemania box set.

I kept all the wrestler/promotion specific dvds, just because I like having them.

Disturbed316 04-12-2015 02:58 AM

In a box at my parents house, will probably never watch them again due to not living in the same country as them.

Seth82 04-12-2015 03:02 AM

I've kept them for the time being.

crazy how much money I have invested in them. Now for a mere 10 bucks you can watch all you want to your hearts content.

crazy.

Lock Jaw 04-12-2015 03:16 AM

I gave all my fat clothes to my fat friends.

This.

I bought every WWE DVD between 2001 and maybe 2006, when it came out. All that money...

I try to kid myself that they might be worth something on Ebay, especially because they're all the original versions, so no blurred WWF logos, proper entrance themes, Chris Benoit etc. But even that is probably not such a big selling point any more.

Will keep 'em all though, for now anyway. Although...

I have 2 boxes full of them sitting in my garage. I would love to sell them but don't want to deal with the hassle of putting them on ebay.

Keep them. We don't know how long the Network will be around. Or when they will decide to yank stuff off it. I don't see the need to get rid of something physical and replacing it with something you don't really own.

Destor 04-12-2015 03:58 PM

Gave mine away to someone who would appreciate them*

*i do not have the network

CSL 04-12-2015 04:01 PM

in my DVD collection. Where they'll stay for as long as I have a DVD collection.

Highly doubt they ever decide to yank things off the Network. They own all of the tapes, so no licensing agreements to deal with.

Emperor Smeat 04-12-2015 06:49 PM

I've kept them although my collection has always been pretty small.

screech 04-12-2015 06:53 PM

Still have them on a bookshelf. If I got rid of them, I'd have to look at an empty shelf and that would be silly.

Is this Shisen's sock account?

As for me I've sold some at times, but mostly kept for occasional watching when I'm extremely bored.

Dukelorange 04-12-2015 09:50 PM

I had a small collection and I used to tape PPVs. I still have all my footage, however they are scattered in three houses.

GD 04-12-2015 10:06 PM

Met a fine lady that shared my love for wrestling. I gave her all of them.

Shisen Kopf 04-13-2015 06:10 AM

Wait? DVD? so confused. I still have my rasslin tapes from the 1980s and 1990s. Still never found the elusive WWF Supertape 3 though. Have a bunch of ppvs from the attitude era too. But somewhere around 2002 they stopped making VHS tapes. Dumb move WWF. Lost a lot of money by no longer selling tapes I bet.
