Red Dead Revolver..

PIMP

This game kicks so much ass and I haven't even played the multi-player online shit..

it's pretty awesome. I got it on XBOX. The rating Gamespot and IGN gave it is so ****ing unfair.

Kris P Lettus 05-21-2004 08:50 PM

What'd they rate it??

It's one of the best games I've played in a while...

Jason Cage 05-21-2004 08:57 PM

7 and 7.3, something like that. The graphics are pretty awesome, and they gave them a 7. wtf. Vice City got like a 10 for that.

Kane Knight 05-21-2004 09:23 PM

Lame.

AareDub 05-21-2004 09:25 PM

It looks cool, I'm gonna check it out when I finish my ps2 mod :D

Y2Crippler 05-22-2004 11:19 AM

I like it as well. My friend bought it the other day. Pretty fun.

Shaggy 05-22-2004 11:57 AM

my friend got it and beat it with in a day. He said that it was pretty good. I guess now I have to play it to see what all the talk is about.

Graphics change. People's expectancy for good graphics change. People have higher standards now.

Jason Cage 05-22-2004 04:18 PM

^ well, I'm not talking for PS2, cause I know the graphics are better on XBOX than on PS2. I have Max Payne on XBOX, then I went over my cousin's and he had it on PS2. Quite the graphic change.

I also "beat" it in a day but I heard the real game come with replaying the chapters as they get harder with more to do..

p.s.bit-wise the Gamecube has better graphics than both..

Poet 05-22-2004 05:56 PM

I want to rent this game.
P.S. Fear and loathing in LAS VEGAS rules.

Jason Cage 05-22-2004 10:34 PM

Yeah i just finished the game. You get to replay the missions to acquire characters or cheats or levels. I beat the last level under a minute and it gave me Invicibility, so it's pretty cool.

This game is sick, but it should have been twice as big.

DS 05-22-2004 10:53 PM

That's a Rockstar game for you.

AlphaBean 05-23-2004 12:39 PM

For one it glitches like nobody's business,

For two, it's the shallowest game in the world... when you have interactive worlds in GTA, you get this? There is nothing interactive about the graphics. Four stores at Brimstone? Please. Five people to talk to? It reminded me of Smackdown, where there's so much potential, so many unused places... this might have been a test to see how it's received. The gameplay became amazingly addictive, with the two button movement and two-button aiming, it gave me a lot of freedom and I liked that. I would definitely get a sequel if they put time and effort into it.

The storyline itself seemed lacking, though it was an issue of vengeance, so the only problem is the holes. Like it was rushed. Someone mentioned a one-armed man and Red's like "Oooh take me to him right now." NEAH 7 is a good rating for RDR because it was a good game but I mean, it wasn't even meant to be better than that.

Kris P Lettus 05-23-2004 06:37 PM

I was thinking it was a test run of sorts also...

They next one, if bigger, will kick the entire ass...

AlphaBean 05-24-2004 02:04 AM

To: Nowhere Man.

You said you haven't played a good Western game... well Gunsmoke for the NES was GOD.
