Gametrailers have started doing their countdown to E3 videos, so it feels like E3 is happening finally, even with Bethesda blowing their load.

Bethesda clearly will have a lot to say about FO4, and rightly so...mostly interested in story and gameplay details ATM. Would be nice to find out if it hasn't been mentioned yet, what year it takes place in.

I swear to christ if they say October 2015 like the rumors are pointing to a release date, I will lose my shit at 2am in the UK while I'm watching.

I'm just going to watch the GiantBomb stream like I've done the past couple of years. I think the format of "watching professionals watch the stream and hearing them comment on it" is pretty good, especially when it's from people whose opinions you trust and generally enjoy their personalities.

Yeah I feel that. It's almost like watching a sports draft or whatever. As much of a gimpy gnome that Mel Kiper is, it's nice having some "real-time analysis" as things happen etc to make sure you are aware of the salient points of what is going on

Think most of the big presentations are at stupid UK times or when I'm at work. Hate having a job sometimes.

Should be able to get in MS, EA, Ubi, Nintendo and Square Enix since they're at good times. Speaking of the latter though...

E3 stuff:

Microsoft announced the 1TB Xbox One console is arriving the day after their press conference. Comes with a digital copy of Halo: The Master Chief Collection. The 500GB model will get a permanent $50 price cut to $350 as well.

EA recently released an announcement teasing they will have an announcement for Mirror's Edge soon. Mirror's Edge Catalyst was revealed to have been trademarked by EA but was also teased to not likely be the name of the game itself.

Speculation at NeoGAF that Platinum Games might be making an announcement during Nintendo's E3 Direct event. Rumor originates based on a retweet by Bayonetta's 2 director. On one hand, the guy likes to retweet a lot of stuff unrelated to what Platinum does while on the other hand, Wonderful 101's and Bayonatta's 2 announcements were teased almost in a similar fashion.

Could be tied into an exclusive reveal IGN will be having for a Nintendo platform game shortly after Nintendo's own event.

Turns out EA didn't want to wait any longer and gave the official E3 announcement for Mirror's Edge Catalyst (ended up being the actual name).

Was also revealed to be arriving in early 2016 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.

Of course The Last Guardian is going to be at E3, it will be announced alongside Shenmue 3 and translations of Yakuza Ishin & 0 and then 50 women will be knocking down my door all begging to blow me as I go to spend my vast fortune after the event.

Phil Spencer said Crackdown, Quantum Break and Scalebound will be front and center at gamescom along with new game reveals for both Xbox One and Windows 10. None of those games are at E3.

Hooefully that means they have too much new shit at E3 they had to be bumped.

* For those going or interested in going to Best buy to try out Mario Maker during E3, Nintendo is giving away special 30th anniversary Super Mario Bros commemorative buttons as a free gift for playing. Other commemorative buttons will also be available for pre-ordering select 3DS and Wii U games at the store.
