im ready for gamergate 2k15 baby...love cons
|
Quantum Break is coming April 5th 2016. Moving onto Crackdown 3.
|
Crackdown didn't look ready for prime time, but the destruction looked awesome.
Scalebound though, have been waiting to see gameplay of this. |
Scalebound looks like Dragons Dogma crossed with Platinum combat and style. 4 player co-op too and that's when I'm getting a XBox One.
Holiday 2016. ...Talking entertainment. Break time. "We've been listening to people ask "Can I record live TV?" Well now, the answer is yes" YAWN |
Every XBox 360 Games With Gold will now be compatible with XB1.
|
That's good times. I'm all about more stuff to play for basically free on my XB1.
Also, there's now one of the Battletoads in Killer Instinct. That's something. |
Indie and Early Access stuff going on.
Hoping for a big finish that isn't Halo or Gears. |
"no hardware required" for PC gaming DVR in Win10 is bullshit, my GPU isn't good enough for it.
If you're talking PC, announce a game for it. Come on. |

Dark Souls 3 though, so it's picking back up! |

I guess we'll probably get clarification later. |
Homefront still exists... And it's looking pretty damn good now!
|
FIFAzzzzzzzzzzzz
Missing Story Time with Pele. |
Left when they started talking about Halo to walk home. Assume they'll talk some Gears after that so I'm done. Hopefully I'll have a surprise to read about when I get home.
|
Showed Just Cause 3, out on December 1st, which also comes with Just Cause 2.
|
Forza 6: CARS CARS CARS. Lots of cars. Lots of details on said cars. Dedicated servers for 24-player races, which seems like a special thing anymore.
|
"physically based 3d puddles"
What a time to be alive! |
Rainbow Six: Siege, comes with a couple of older Rainbow Six games, which seems to be a recurring theme. Now on to Tomb Raider 2.2: The Reckoning.
|
The "one last thing..." is more Halo. Bleargh.
Halo Wars 2. Oh boy? |
Halo Wars was... OK. Nothing very special, but there's so few RTS games out there right now I might get it.
I'd recommend everyone with a PC that can handle it to get Just Cause 2 on PC instead, the multiplayer mod is brilliant. Scalebound is seriously enough to get me on an XB1 next year, but it's a pity there wasn't more. I know it wasn't successful last time around, but I'd like them to court more Japanese developers again because some of my favourite 360 were ones like Ninety Nine Nights. 3rd party publishers do still seem where it's at. |
Just read that Halo Wars 2 is being made by the Total War guys in Sega. OK, you have my attention.

EDIT: Actually free with any KI purchase Rash is available to all Killer Instinct and Rare Replay owners. If you’ve purchased any piece of Killer Instinct content, including Season bundles, characters, accessories, colours, or even KI Gold you have instant access to Rash. Rare Replay players – just launch the “Battletoads” game in Rare Replay to unlock the first achievement “Do You Have Battletoads?” Rash should now be available in the character select screen of Killer Instinct. EDIT 2: he's being classed as a beta character. He's playable until September 8th. |
Cool. Interesting to see how he will play. Have to fire it up this weekend. Still need to play through Ground Zeroes.
|
So far at EA, there's been Need For Speed with real drivers, Sims 4 cringe, Mirrors Edge looking great, Old Republic nonsense and Garden Warfare 2 featuring Grass Effect.
|
There was also a tiny amount of Battlefront and a metric shitton of FIFA.

This one does look like it, which is why I'm not that interested. Can't believe they just stopped making Burnout.
|
Oh yeah, the FFXV trailer was out and not great.

The last NFS I remember really enjoying was Most Wanted. Rivals (I think? Whatever is on current gen where you can do cops/racers) is okay, but still "not there" I guess. Burnout is definitely worthy of having its own series. I feel like if it were squarely Burnout, they could be more innovative with game modes. Taking crash mode to a new level or something. Pancreas. |

why is there a rape scene and Liam Neeson holding a dead child next to a batmobile in that Final Fantasy trailer
|
Because DRAMA
|
damn that's a lot of drama
|
It IS Final Fantasy - so you get 60+ hours of rapey drama.
|
SquareEnix have said that FFXV is on track at the moment and 65% complete. They know a date they want to launch if things continue going well, but don't want to announce it just yet in case they do get faced with a delay. However, they have said it will be 2016.
There's still TGS in September, Paris in October and PSX in December to announce a date. I'm thinking they're planning a summer 2016 release myself, but might be pushed back to holiday for marketing purposes or even a legit delay. |
Oh shit, is there a new WoW expansion reveal today?
|
Yeah, probably some Diablo 3 patch talk too.
