Have there ever been any good ones?

My minds gone blank and the only one I can ever remember is when Jericho bought out Big Show to be his partner a few years ago, and even then it was a bit of a let-down.

I just realized he was later a part of Raven's flock. Never knew that.

DB's return and Hogan at Bash At The Beach are the only 2 to leap to mind.....Very hard to have the same effect nowadays with the internet spoiling everything....

Cody Rhodes turning on Hardcore Holly to join Ted DiBiase and win the tag titles from himself. I can't remember if it was predictable or not. Pretty cool way to turn heel though.

He also wrestled as Ron Studd, a very tall guy who was used to set a couple guys up for The Giant. Of the most notable, one was Lex Luger.

I used to get all excited when a (?) mystery partner was scheduled thinking it could be a cool surprise of some sort. Then when it was Big Show/Sheamus/Orton 13414 times in a row and I stopped caring.

Does (?) mystery opponent count? If so, Ill throw out Tazz'z debut against Angle at the Rumble.

On a somewhat related topic: What percentage of the time do organizations use the mystery partner as "we want to try and shock you" versus "we have no fucking clue" versus "it's whichever of these guys we can sign/resign/is ready to come back"?
