Star Ocean: Till the End of Time
I reserved a copy of this game yesterday which comes out on August 3rd for PS2. For those of you that are familiar with the previous two Star Oceans it takes place about 400 years after Star Ocean 2 on Planet Expel, and revolved around the same concepts as the last two.
Here are some screenshots: http://media.ign.com/thumb/495/495444/enix20_thumb.jpghttp://media.ign.com/thumb/448/44833...30_6_thumb.jpg http://media.ign.com/thumb/429/42928...13_1_thumb.jpghttp://media.ign.com/thumb/433/43384...23_3_thumb.jpg http://media.ign.com/thumb/429/42928...13_2_thumb.jpghttp://media.ign.com/thumb/422/42233...9_27_thumb.jpg http://media.ign.com/thumb/495/495435/enix11_thumb.jpghttp://media.ign.com/thumb/495/495443/enix19_thumb.jpg http://media.ign.com/thumb/827/82701...9436_thumb.jpg The battle system is similar to the previous Star Oceans where you're able to move freely around a given area, and attack at will. The graphics are really crisp, and the general gameplay outside of combat looks excellent. I read that the skill system is similar to Star Ocean 2 system, where you have to build up CP, and then you assign skills to six different slots on each character which determines the skill's effectiveness. Sounds a bit confusing, and apparently it takes a little while to get used to when playing the game. I loved Star Ocean 2, one of my all-time favorite RPG's, I hope this one can live up to that. |
Can't wait for it to come out.
